$11R AKs river decision
UTG+1: 4,736 (31.6 bb)
UTG+2: 5,225 (34.8 bb)
MP1: 4,125 (27.5 bb)
MP2: 11,550 (77 bb)
Hero (MP3): 11,519 (76.8 bb)
CO: 4,125 (27.5 bb)
BTN: 5,575 (37.2 bb)
SB: 5,205 (34.7 bb)
BB: 9,557 (63.7 bb)
Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K A
4 folds, Hero raises to 400, 3 folds, BB calls 250
Flop: (875) T A 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets 550, BB calls 550
Turn: (1,975) 4 (2 players)
BB bets 600, Hero calls 600
River: (3,175) 5 (2 players)
BB bets 2,700, Hero?
I rarely play MTTs and was somehow lost in this spot. Villain has been active, playing a lot of pots but not spewing much i'd say. Can i call here?

Re: $11R AKs river decision
Almost potsize usually is very strong, people dont do that to bluff since most of the time half f it gets the job done. You still only need to be ahead in about 30%, so if you think villain is able to represent something with his betsize and the River is a blank consider calling even big bets here.

He bets 600 in 1900 OTT and u flat? On such drawy board u have to raise imo.

Re: $11R AKs river decision
Yea fold looks good; villain's line very FDish. Agree w/ others that r/c OTT is probably profitable, as that 4 didn't help him and he likely would've made a move OTF or a bigger bet w/ a big hand OTT.

Re: $11R AKs river decision
Definitely raise the turn. That c/c flop, donk lead small turn is a really bluffy or blocker line.

Re: $11R AKs river decision
we're never good when we r/c ott. if villain wanted to get it in ott he could have done it on the flop. r/f seems the superior play.
when villain bets small then shoves over a raise, he wasn't blocking, he was inducing.
fold river

Re: $11R AKs river decision
Turn is a raise clearly, but is it r/f or r/c?
Seems it`s r/c if we can assign draws only to his small lead, otherwise I`m unsure that deep.

Re: $11R AKs river decision
What if we raise ott, he flats, and the 5 of diamonds hit instead and he still bets close to pot? Is it still a fold?

Re: $11R AKs river decision
Doubt it. He would rep like A5s for value and a plethora of missed draws

Re: $11R AKs river decision
river is obviously a fold and I think he rarely b/3b turn with value hands so i'd probably raise.
