11c vs 18BB shove
Villain is a random, no reads. We are 4/46, already ITM. Note stacks behind: fold, iso, call/call, call/fold (?!) ?

Re: 11c vs 18BB shove
lol, i didnt scroll down to see your hand at first but when I saw the stacks I said in my head "AT would be hella awkward here"
You should pass this up though. Better spots and all that stuff, your edge is considerably larger with 40bb than 22bb.

Re: 11c vs 18BB shove
Considering stacks, your image (you have a larger pfr% as most villains, so you're gonna pick up lots more uncontested pots with 50BB than with 22BB if you lose..), your edge, etc. This is a fold for me.
Iso-ing range around TT+, AJs+, anyone adding AJo, 99 to this?

Re: 11c vs 18BB shove
Is it wrong to assume (readless) that villain is rarely playing better aces/pairs like this? Or are we mostly folding because of the awkwardness of the stacks behind and the disaster that it would be if we bust out here?

pretty much this. We don't need to take every +EV spot in tournaments when we can find far better ones with 50bb. I think I'd iso AJo+ 88+.

Re: 11c vs 18BB shove
Readless i assume that Villain has a medium pair that he does not want to play postflop. If you know Villain is a good reg you may add hands like KQs to his range. If you pick up a marginal hand like AQo id recommend just calling. This actually looks scarier than isoraising and if a stack that has you covered shoves dont assume you get the odds to call off, it will always be a high pair very rarely AK except if the pusher has donated like 10k or so

It's a large jam how sure can we be that he's shoving worse most of the time, it's a pretty large jam for A8s. I think you're flipping the majority of the time and dominating less than I'd want to call off.

Re: 11c vs 18BB shove
Alright I get that we have a reasonable hand but come on it's a 18xbb shove from HJ, we're not dominating him there too often (if ever) and you have to risk way too much to win this pot.

Results are I flatted with the intention of physically abusing myself if bigstack would get involved but everyone folded and I won vs K9s. Meh
