Hi guys, just a hand a friend of mine played last night in a 100+10 live tournament that we've been discussing and can't come to a conclusion on - not sure how to convert it so I'll try my best to make it clear;

2k/4k/500 hero starts with 290k
hero raises CO 9k (98s)
BB defends 9k (starts with 63k)

flop 9d6c5h

BB checks, hero checks back (personally don't like this)
4s turn, BB checks, hero bets 10k, BB calls
5d river, BB checks, hero bets 20k, BB shoves remaining 45ish, hero calls

Really don't like this line here vs BB stack size, c bet with the plan to call a shove on flop seems a lot better to me, as played think the value bet is far too thin on river. Really open to ideas on this hand as we discussed it for a good while.

Thanks

I like bet/calling this flop with plans of shoving on some turns. 1/2 pot looks good.

After checking back the flop I like the 10k bet ott.

Don't like the river bet unless you have a read that this player is a big station.

I think bet flop and jam turn is the right move here.

I don't find a reason to check back flop.
I mostly check this flop and i think you clearly lose with this action at the river.

I don't know if this is the optimal line but 95% you lose at this river action!

Check back on flop makes no sense. You smash the flop so bet. Too many times people get tricky in this situation and it ends up costing them. Force him to make a decision.
