So i dunno much about this guy he seemed like a weaker player but definitely has a good amount of scores over the years and was rank #2000 on stars in 2014 on OPR. But still he seemed like a bit of a clown so i dunno. Made at least one pretty bad call that i have seen earlier. This is FT and he quickly raised the turn and very quickly made the river bet. I asked him if he would show me if i fold he did not answer although i tanked for like a minute. Also when i asked what he had afterwards he just made up some hands including aces. which makes me believe he had it.... either 8xc or str8 but with a str8 i think he bet smaller if he has any logic to him. also kinda strange even with a flush cause i would think he would bet smaller with the flush cause calling with worse is such a huge ICM disaster for me. Then again i do not know what goes on in his head maybe he dont think that much. Or maybe i am just thinking like a fish here again.

I think it's a fold, based on the range of hands that could reasonably be shoving in that situation. You have to assume he isn't shoving with air, so the range of hands is probably 22, 66, 88, 44, Ax8x, or hands that beat you like 5x7x or any two clubs. You're probably closer to 60% in that case, and for this to be a +EV play I think you need to be closer to 75%.

How is it a snap vs random at FT?

Its conceivable he could have worse for value but wouldnt expect many bluffs on this runout w/ line he taken.

I also doubt people l/c 75o, 86o, 64o pre.

actually didn't realize flush completed otr

no i don't expect bluffs but i think he can limp/call all the lower sets pre due to pot controlling for icm reasons.

with this dumb sizing pre we're certainly giving him lot of incentive to peel 86o 75o.

certainly could consider an exploitative fold.

My first instinct is that this does not feel value-ish at all, is villain from South America or Scandinavia by any chance? Feels like a pressure play, once villain raises turn they have to follow through on river and we are at the so called top of our range no way in hell he puts us on a set of aces. Ad is a very scary card which makes it even easier for villain to exert pressure. What does he think we have that he can bomb the river with and still expect a call? It is also very probable that villain actually is betting for value with worse e.g worse sets and twopair. All in all I am not folding.

snapping. The only better hand he can have is the 75 straight. Maybe some 8Xcc. He's jamming all his 2pairs and sets he plays this way IMO. We can never have a flush draw that just calls on the turn.

So, this guy is a clown who has been seen making at least one bad play already. We have a flop + turn which looks like it's hit their range a lot harder than ours. I wouldn't discount bluffs here.

River looks like a fistpump call?

LOL at the scared fold.

This is a shrug call...maybe not snap, but close lol
