€100 TP on draw heavy board

MP1 23/10/0, BTN 22/8/3, both 100 hands sample, I think we can be pretty sure they are bad players.

Mainly curious about flop, do you find it stupid do go c/eval on board like this vs 2 fish?

Somehow I didn't like the idea of being almost committed on many ugly turns vs at least one fish with unclear range OOP.

Poker Stars €91+€9 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t350/t700 Blinds + t85 - 9 players

Yes! Capping our range as the preflop raiser is a recipe for disaster.

As played I'd just c/s the turn given neither of villains ranges look strong and we'll be out of position on the river where like half the deck sucks and we get put in some super annoying spots.

HOWEVER!!!

Betting flop vs fish on this texture is just way better, you can fold if the action get too heavy. With some specific read I could happily get it in vs one of them on the flop and be content. Basically, there's plenty of value to be had.

As for sizing, start with 3777/x

Re: €100 TP on draw heavy board

Ty Gregz, I 100% agree w/ the second sentence, I wanted to control pot on flop, but looking at their sizing turn is defo c/shove, somehow I blindly sticked to my c/c plan and was happy that they bet so small.

I still don't like any option on flop, but I guess you're right there too, it's hard to control this pot anyway, so its better to bet and make some smart decision depending on turn card.

Anyway, if I bet ~3700, I am 90% sure I'd get 2 calls. So pot is 17k, and we have 21k behind. I guess we are shoving this turn ((and all other bricks) right? And c/f every 7, 9, Q, K and hearts right?

Yes, I'd agree with this plan.

Just c/f the ugly turn cards vs passive weak opponents.

You don`t have to constantly bet flop to get a big enough roll to play $100.

Vs bad non tricky passive opponents it seems a simple flop value bet...never a big c/c fan if there is a better option out there
