Blinds are 800/1600. I have about 40k, about double the average. I raise to 4800. villian one is short with around $10k and pushes. villian two with around 30k pushes. Call or fold?

I didn't think it was likely that I was facing an overpair. I though the short stack would push with smaller pairs big aces, KQ. I though the bigger stack was just trying to isolate with big cards.

Mr.WeakTight, you've been around a while and seem pretty smart, you know that you need a reason to fold and you know that you've not included one, in fact you're added more reasons to call given the smaller stacks range.

If you think this merits a question though you need to post positions

with the reads you got I'd never fold JJ here.
vs some live nittards whos 4brange is QQ+/AK def fold.

I posted it b/c I asked three players afterwards whether it was a call or a fold and 2 of the 3 said fold. then one who said call was not much of a tournament player.

positions: me- about MP1. villian 1- about MP3 (10 handed). and villian two was LP.

@ V-Delaney - less than 4 is basically a min raise. 4k is 2.5x, and there's no antes.

results: both have AKo. flop has K. out.

This screams AK, AQs, 99-JJ to me. With KK or AA he's smooth calling and wanting you to get money in. Even hoping you'll push over the top of his call. Queens is the line here. He could be pushing or just smooth calling with it.

With the AK he likely knows he's strong enough to call, wants the dead money from your raise and doesn't want to go to the flop with a potiental side pot with you.

That said, it would really depend on the player. I could see snapping this off against some, but folding against a lot of live players.
