Re: 10$ rebuy, AQ in 3bet pot

Nice spot to squeeze.
I think sizing looks too value-ish pre and also provides VPIPy guy better price to call. I`d go a bit more like 1355.

I don`t like checking turn behind.
Thinking about 2222/f.
Checking behind you`re giving up// repping some BDFD which isn`t much in your range. Doubt he`s folding any Kx even on bad for him rivers.

Re: 10$ rebuy, AQ in 3bet pot

Hero has 6430, but MP2 only has 5540 if my math is right. I think barrelling the turn is pretty close - villain seems loose/passive by his stats, and it may be hard to count on him folding a J (plus, of course, some of his jacks made two pair). He would most likely fold a pair below jacks, and there shouldn't be much else in his range now unless he flatted preflop with a small suited ace. Still, I think it's such a good barrelling card, plus you picked up a gutter- I would just bet/call like 4k.
I think a little bit larger pre and/or on the flop may have made this hand easier.

shoving turn is good against a lot of villains, with this guy im not a 100% sure but the K is the best card to bluff shove on so id probably stick it in.

LOL at 1355 instead of 1325. Nitpick much?

Think I would be either jamming or checking OTT. I like checking because it not only gives us a chance in position to see what he does OTR, but it also gives us a chance to catch a Q, an A, or a 10 to possibly (or surely) win a showdown.

FWIW, think hand was played fine to this point, and think the only bad play is betting half pot or something OTT

Honestly, I decided so bc I don`t like both shoving and checking behind.
In game I`d use add. info, which is not included in OP.

Last edited by PageUp; 05-25-2012 at 10:45 PM. Reason: cuz you're in a pot with a fish (esp if it's plo ufo <3) and you missed and he's not gonna play good

Re: 10$ rebuy, AQ in 3bet pot

plo ufo is mexican slang for fish. <3 is a heart for me to express my love of big mexican fish.

and seriously, just check the flop. Are you really worried that some super passive fish is going to bluff too much after you check back?
