I understand there is not much of theortical difference between 22-77 because we expect people behind us to fold those PPs anyways, but just seems gross shoving 22 here SOMEWHAT close to the money in the ME with 2 hour long levels.

Against a range of AJs+, AQ+, 88+, 22 is 33.6% and 77 is 35.1%. That's not huge, but it's not nothing either. FTR, TT is 47.9%.

Also, there is always a chance that someone makes a "put you on AK" call with a low pair, and the higher our pair is, the better. Adding red 66 to the villain range to account for a small chance of that, 22 equity goes to 33.4%, 77 to 35.6%, TT to 48.3%.

Results: I shoved my stack of nearly 18 bigs. The big blind, who showed up at the table some two hours earlier with about 550k but had since dropped to roughly 250k, tanked and called with AQ and won the flip to eliminate me.
