you have a stack worth folding.. Calling introduces too much variance. you are at best a 60\40. your stack is much larger then the table average. you can still pressure the others with little risk to being short yourself. you coul

Flatting the first time would be fine for me.

As mentioned above, your 3b should be smaller, and it looks like you should fold now.

+1 I think its good to have AK forming some part of our flatting range in certain spots and think this is one, its great for deception purposes as villian is proly going to cap us off when ranging us.

It is an interesting hand. I personally would have just flat called as you have position and you can see a flop and see what he does on the flop. It also helps disguise the strength of your hand by flat calling.
Your re-raise is huge which really gives you information on the strength of his hand, and it would have surely made him fold a lot of hands he was holding. I don't actually see much point in re-raising smaller as it achieves nothing. So IMO you can flat call it which I would prefer or re-raise big like you did.
But having said that, the big problem with re-raising big is that had he called a continuation bet would have to be huge, and AK can be a nightmare to play post flop when you miss the board. You could end up barrelling off a huge amount of your chips.

I think it is a really interesting hand though.

After the 4bet push his range is 4-5 % or even less (JJ+, AJs+, KQs). So it is a coinflip or worse. With AKo it is an easy fold, I think. 7000 reraise is fine, to get some info at least.

I like call pre also it keeps the fish (limper) in the pot and you have position. Folding now.

Advising a call pre is being too much results oriented here. 3 betting here is absolutely standard and perfecty fine! We want to play headsup post with AKo and don't want to invite other players in by just calling. Remember there already is one limper who will likely overcall if we flat here....

The 3bet is the best play pre flop as you need to be heads up with AK. I may have commited about less pre around 12% of stack instead of 16% but depends on how MP1 was playing. Once the 4bet by MP2 your flipping a best or even crushed. The fold is the best play here.

With that many BB's, why even risk the chance that villain could've woken up with aces, and then you're essentially toast. Fold and move on. Great post btthywrsooted.
