Hey all. We're gonna be running a regular Sunday mixed-game in the San Francisco Bay Area @ a safe location in Downtown Oakland. See details below. 5pm start.

We'll be playing, H.O.R.S.E., NLHE, PLO, PLO8, not in that order, 8-hands of each, 8-max. If we play short-handed or other players leave, draw games may be included. There will be no wild card games.

Limit games are $1/2, PL/NL .25/50. Most players will be playing "deep," $100/200bb. Depending on how the game develops we could kick it up to double the blinds & buy-in or higher in the coming weeks/after the series. You can buy-in for whatever you're comfortable w/, $20-$100.

There will be good players and players who are learning "the other games" on the fly.

The game is @ a sweet loft in Downtown Oakland, close to Bart & freeways. No shady stuff or shady folks. BYO w/e. Nice table, chips, etc. It's a good environment to play in. A regular NL game has been running here for quite a while... Time to mix it up.

Game has been moved. It is now a rake free/time free/tip free completely traditional 5/5 home game at a house. 7 players every time we play. Pass the deck, watch sports, drink some beers, invite only.

If you want to play in Bergen County on Saturdays, I know a great game with good food, an auto shuffler and a fast dealer. If you are interested in playing Saturdays, the Englewood game is advertised on homepokergames.com. Some of the regs from the old game went there.

Folks. We have 2 series of Mixed-Games running @ my friend's loft in Downtown Oakland, near W. Grand and Broadway. (safe. chill. friendly. organized. bart. parking.)

THE GAMES:
1. We have been playing 7-Game Mixed-Limit on Sundays for the last several weeks. It's been a huge success and a ton of fun, but we still need new blood. Come one, come all.

2. We are about to have our 1st all big-bet game, the 1st in a series of NL/PLO/PLO8 throw-downs.

All details below:

SUNDAY MIXED-LIMIT GAME:
$1/2 Lim and .25/50 PL/NL, $100-stacks/200bb. Nearly everybody buys-in for the max, often literally everybody.
Mix: PLO, Razz, Lim O8, NLHE, Stud-8, PLO8, Lim HE
*We add Lim 2-7 triple draw when we are <6-max
*Stud high is noticeably absent. We play it sometimes.
*We hope to try a couple short-handed games where we play an 11-game mix, for all you draw poker fiends. (add NL2-7SD, Badugi & Stud high to the regular Sunday mix)

NL/PLO/PLO8 GAME DETAILS:
No-Limit Hold 'Em, Pot-Limit Omaha, Pot-Limit Omaha h/l 8ob, 1 orbit per game, $.25/.50 $100-max. Our 1st NL/PLO/PLO8 game filled up w/in 2 hours of announcing it, so we'll naturally be hosting them regularly. We have the potential to spread out to 2 6-max tables, if interest stays this high. 9-max for now.
* 8/3 game full w/ short wait list. W/ the last min flake factor, you might well get a seat. Hit me up as desired. We'll announce the date of the 2nd NL/PL game on or before 8/3.

THE STAKES
@ future games, like in the very near future, we could end up playing higher. It's only a matter of time before we try $200-max $2/4 Lim, .50/1 NL/PL. (or possibly un-capped buy-in) We've had no trouble getting 200bb in the middle during the big-bet games on Sunday. (same pot size as a all-in pot in a typical "$100NL" .50/1 100bb max game).

I fully trust my friend who is running this game. I would place my internet reputation up for judgement that this is a legitimate safe, secure, and well run poker game.

We play:
1/2, 2/5(occasionally), NLHE &/ PLO depending on the players of the night.
Reasonable rake.
Food/drinks are included except for a recommended tip for the food/drink girl.
Dealer who works for tips.
Secure location in condo.
Friendly group and very serious about keeping out riff raff.

Dates/Hours:
Right now we are playing Tuesday, Thursday-Sunday. Days/nights range in player amounts. IE this past Thursday we started at 7pm and had 6 players at most the whole time and for about 2hours from 3am+ we played only 4 handed. Sunday afternoon though we had 9 players for most of the night. Occasionally there are enough players for 2 tables and the game is setup to enable that with enough warning.

Ability:
I play there often but not always. In my opinion the game is beatable for most average players. A few quality players but almost none with serious internet experience.

PM or Skype me if interested. There will be some sort of vetting process.

We have tried this before but couldn't get it started. This time we have a pretty decent player base and will likely be able run it weekly.

Mixed games, professionally run with an experienced dealer, are tough to find smaller than 20-40 (even that's tough to find) because its bad for the house. Hands take a long time. We are starting up a 4-8 or 6-12 mixed hoping to spread games like:

O8
badugi
badeusy/badasey
2-7 tripple
no limit 2-7 single
PLO
PLO8
stud8
whatever other decently recognized games people want to vote it.

We have a dealer from Palomar who has a lot of exp dealing all of these games and more. That place is somehow able to run a 300-600, sometimes two games, every day of the week. Don't know how they do it.
