All the games I see for NJ seem to be in the north end. Anyone know of any games towards Cranbury/East Brunswick/New Brunswick?

i just moved to jersey (new brunswick area) and i'm also interested in a small home game. i haven't really played in the last two years (started playing online again for a little bit in the winter) so the 0.10/0.20 game sounds like fun or maybe a $30 tournament or something.

whats up guys im new to this forum and have been playinf poker for a few years not but just started to seriously get into it in the past year or soo.. the group of people playing everyweek is slowly winding down because there is about 2 or 3 of us that will walk with profit everytime and the other people lose every week lol i am thankfully not one of them.. but i am looking to expand my netowrk and find some more games.. im in college so im looking for micro stakes.. maybe 25/50 or 10/25.. cents of course lol.. i would even go play a 50cent/1$.. im from north jersey about 3 min from giant stadium.. if anyone can help id appreciate it.. thanks

My "regular" game has recently become "semi-regular." We started out playing 1/2NL (80min/300max), but when the game became less friendly than desired, I dropped the stakes to 1/1NL (50min/150max). Even after dropping the stakes, getting players to come on the regular has still been difficult.

My list of players is at 27, and finding a minimum of 6 others (other than myself) has only happened 4 times over the past 7 weeks! I'm very upset about this now, as my only alternatives to my Thursday game are the local club ($6 time charge per half hr) or playing in the city where upwards of $10 comes out of pots. I'm all for the house taking a bit off the table, and dealers have to eat too, but when the house takes a buyin off the table every hour, it's just a hard game to beat.

I'm just venting here, but if anyone is interested in playing 1/1NL at a nice house in an upscale neighborhood with free food (just about anything you want, made to order by my wife), a friendly host, and a great group of people (when they show up) on Thursday nights, feel free to contact me via PM.

I can attest to how difficult it is to get involved in a regular home game in 2008/2009. Maybe 4-5 years ago when people were more obsessed with the game/younger/flushed with disposable cash, it was extremely easy, but nowadays, it's difficult. I've had a hard time as well building the SI home game which includes low stakes tournaments, low stakes cash games, and cash games at the same Limit that Mattyspin is having. Tough times when it comes to being a live recreational player!

More recently, my game has been going at least once weekly. Thursdays (now with all the NCAA games going on) have been fantastic and our turnout has been very solid. PM me if you're interested.

Has anyone played in any of the games advertised on homepokergames.com . It was suggested earlier in this thread or one similar and was curious if anyone had any luck. Same with craigslist. I'm interested, but don't know if I'd want to check any of them out with someone elses input.

I'll play any/all of the HORSE games as limit, pot-limit or no-limit. Would prefer 10-20 limit and higher, 2-5 blind and higher PL/NL but am flexible.

I have several friends who are looking as well. If we end up starting something new, I am willing to host and we can have a rotating game. We've been playing 4-7 handed 2-4 through 6-12 HORSE for the last few Tuesday nights.
