There used to be a LI thread but it got flooded with advertisements about raked games. That's not quite what I am looking for. Any Long Island players here? I have a game that runs multiple times a week. Wouldn't mind a decent player or two to spice things up a bit (Of course, if you're a fish, I'll take it too). Got a newly renovated poker area in my basement.

I know you're joking about the moving part, but you posed a few decent questions. Always NLHE, ranging from .25/.50 to 1/2. We have played .25/.50 when we just want to play and are trying to entice a few players who are el cheapo to play. Lately it's been mostly .50/1. I think it's a good balance of enough money on the table while still retaining the fun aspect. Losing a 250bb pot at 1/2 could potentially leave a bad taste in a friends mouth, which I try to avoid.
