Come on, I can't be the only one around here who hates driving 45 minutes to the nearest card room. I am creating this thread to see if anyone in this area would be interested in a game. The stakes can be discussed later but for now if anyone would like a game in South Bend, please respond. I know one or two other people in SB who would play regularly. Also, if anyone hosts or knows of a game in this area, please PM or reply in this thread.

The game I am trying to get started is a $0.25/$0.25 NLH game with a buy in range of $20-$100, although I am open to other suggestions. I have 3-4 players that will play regularly, including myself. I also know several casual players who would play maybe once a month. Looking for a few more to get this game started. GC111 indicated in PM that he prefers slightly smaller games, would this be too high? The smallest denomination chip I have is 25¢. We just need a few more core players from the area to get the game off the ground.

GC111, I'd like to play $1/$2 myself but my poker buddies and neighbors won't play that high. I sort of tried to compromise by making the blinds cheap, but put a high max buy-in so the people that want to play higher can.

Pro_Dealer, just got done talking with you on the phone and that sounds like just the sort of game I was looking for. Thank you for giving me a heads up about a nice game running in this area.

I'm going to rant here as we couldn't find enough people after 2 sessions. The local area is just so dead. No excitement or desire for excitement. What's funny is it's also why I got into poker. Outside of poker, the cool girls I hangout with they don't live here. Sorry ND.

Ok it's been about a year, time for a bump. Anyone in this area host a game or know of any games? Looking for cash up to 1/2, also would be interested in tournies up to 200. Also reply if you are in this area and looking for a game, if enough of us are looking maybe one of us could start up our own game.
