CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
Hi all, first time poster here-
Accidentally posted this in the wrong place earlier but now it's here- a friend of mine and I have outgrown our home game here and were wondering if anyone knows of a micro/low stakes home game in CT, or if anyone is interested in starting one. We'd be down to play anywhere near West Hartford, Windsor, Vernon, Manchester, or Hartford. Would love to change it up a bit, see some new players. We mainly play NLHE, might be down for some Omaha too.
(No rake or anything of the sort)
Thanks!

Re: CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
We live in Manchester, but we're willing to drive up to 45 minutes on weekends, and 30 on weekdays.

Re: CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
I hope I haven't misjudged the line between small and micro stakes here, but we typically play .05/.10 games for a 5 dollar buy in, but we have occasionally, and would be willing to play, up to 20 or 30 dollar buy ins.

Wesrwood: Thanks for the tip! -but we'd probably just be scared money at those stakes.
Hoff: What stakes do you play?

Re: CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
we play right about the same. Right now we play about once every two months, but trying to get together more. Some great guys here we just play and talk. we all get along, no drama, no sharks. max buy in is usually $25 if you want to re-buy thats up to you. some time we do limit, sometimes no limit. depends on who comes. we aren't fans of playing a .05/.10 like a 1/2 game(true story but never at my house). Building a new table so we should be having a game in a week or two, mostly play on Saturday nights starting around 6-7 and ending around midnight.

Re: CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
Hey Guys!
New to the forums as well, but I've been looking for some new home games in Connecticut over the net, but can't find a thing! Except this thread. I'm actually from Vernon..kind of sick of having to wait every Tuesday or Wednesday to hop on the bus to Mohegan to play 1/2 cash games (even tho it is quite a deal), and was looking for a somewhat close home game.
Pretty much the same as sweatervest, in that I mostly play NLHE. $20 dollar buy-in is pretty ideal, but I'm flexable. And hopefully find a home game running 2 tables from time to time? That would be fun. Any leads? Thanks!

Re: CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
We never play two table here never enough people, that would be nice someday. Maybe you could carpool with Sweatervest or something.

Re: CONNECTICUT HOME GAME?
That actually sounds awesome, I'd be down for a monthly game on the weekends, and we could probably carpool. What town do you live in/by?

Cool, we should definitely be in touch if you host a game.
