Well there is certainly a bit of randomness in the meta. The meta in TvP is nexus first on 3/4 player maps, which leads to more bunker rushes or Terran just starting off behind. A large fraction is hard on the luck of Terran scouting it really. It just is what it is because nexus first is super strong.

Yeah, he was there at the same time as Bisu. They didn't have great Protoss behind that, pretty much looking at just Pusan or Jaehoon, at least until Tyson became relevant

Pretty shocking upset in GSL Season 2 Group A.

Also I like that herO is bringing a whole new way to look at Protoss mid-game, was fun to watch.

gsl/esl basically announcing sc2 is a dead game, huge prize money reductions etc. still, should at least make brood war stronger maybe

lots of sc2 cuts. This sucks.

I never played brood war, and its hard to watch compared to sc2.

I'm dissapointed.

I guess the game just isn't big enough. Probably not enough new players coming along

well i mean the fact that it took three days to get another post from anyone is a huge indictment of the current state of sc2. there are no casual fans and the diehards aren't even that interested. just need to look at the volume in this thread. it sucks for people that still watch it and a lot of the pros (especially the koreans, esl are at least still kind of trying in terms of prizepool), but blizzard kind of brought it on themselves with dumbed down macro making the game unwatchable

Been trying to catch up on ASL, just been watching the quarters - Best/Action is a fantastic series, thoroughly recommend that one. Mind/ZerO, especially game 2 imo, is also well worth the watch. Wouldn't watch the Jaedong series because one sided ZvZ sucks, not yet got round to the jyj/SK series
