Even holding 2rax is a loss if you don't absolutely crush the attack. Letting them keep that rax on the low ground outside while they keep making marines (forcing you to make lings not drones) while they double CC at home = LOL zerg GJGE

Seriously, how good do u have to trade as zerg to win in the macro game? The match up is broken, zerg has the 9 to 11 minutes window to win and that's it.

soo's final engagement just didn't do anything it was painful to see. Innovation is rlly good at holding tho.

I mean it's not like Soo played perfect in that last game, he got wrecked by widow mine drops that he had no defense for, but at the same time it's pretty ****ing hard to hold that 5th and Terran gets four near-free bases so it does seem stacked against him

Before that, there was an attack Soo made up into Inno's 3rd that looked like it might win the game even, then I look at supply and it's like 120-100 Inno and I'm like wtf where the hell did Soo's army go???? I have no idea what happened there to turn the tables, but I think Soo taking that last bad engagement was kind of forced by earlier stuff that happened in the game.

The game was lost before. Lings banes muta trades terribly when buildings are around. I think Soo should have gotten a fith 2 minutes earlier when he had inno pinned at his third and not commit at inno's third too much.

^ that's the engagement I'm talking about, starts with 160-150 supply for Soo and I have no idea where the 50 supply he loses in this fight actually was (or 40, I guess, he lost 9 drones to widow mine drop at his 3rd)

But yeah, the simcity obviously hurt Soo a ton in those fights, maybe attempting to contain would have been better

he spent a lot of time with banes behind lings at the rax choke, then peeled off 8 or so banes that got nothing done vs the scvs it looked like

wasnt sure why he kept going up there and getting smacked back harder.

inno didnt even have a 4th til ~22:xx; far from free

pretty entertaining series tho
