I still am, but that doesn't mean I'm oblivious as to the reason why Quantic picked up a low-mid masters player.

Stephano, Welmu, Lucifron and duckdeok looks like a very interesting group.

It's time to face reality. Jim is easily the best foreigner. He is one cheesy mother ****er though. (only just caught his result).

Would take naniwa in a best foreigner contest pretty easily

If Jim played foreign events it wouldnt even be questionable imo but we wont know until we see him more. Meanwhile Naniwa is arguably not even the best European. Not saying I agree or disagree with that.

Europe is so ****ing weak. Our ro16 is embarrassing. Although NA might be worse given that it's only stronger because of koreans. We only kept the koreans out with 1k pings.

very interested to see who you guys think the best foreigner is right now

i definitely think it is still either naniwa with stephano as a second placer, but i'm open to hearing other opinions

probably naniwa, maybe scarlett, no way stephano, the dude doesnt even play any more. If lucifron could get his head out of his ass, maybe he could claim the throne

I would not call it weak, just solid. Who do you think should be there? Only players that are failed to qualify are TLO/Dimaga/Dayshi/ForGG. And from those Dimaga and Dayshi played awfully vs duckdeok. But TLO and ForGG just straight up were not good enough.

And yeah, Koreans basicly fail to get in, because of wall of lag. However, the level of Koreans who try to qualify are mostly second rate anyway. But hey, Naniwa also qualified while he was on Korea, so...

ps. And EU has better players than AM (koreans do not count!). Just sayin

Jim is number one ability wise imo. No achievements though apart from beasting KR ladder consistently and being #1 on there for a while.

Naniwa is probably on form/achievements recently because Stephano has not been playing or practising. Never count him out though, I certainly won't until the day he actually retires.

It's a tough question at this moment in time.

I would go pure ability wise right now (they are playing a LAN tomorrow!):

1. Jim
2. Naniwa
3. Lucifron
4. Snute
5. TLO
6. Scarlett

Or something.

Stephano could still win WCS Europe, wouldn't that be hilarious? But I am leaving him out for now, he's literally on holiday and even before that wasn't playing.

I admit that I don't know jack **** about jim other than the fact that he beasted his WCS group and that he was supposed to be in premier league last season but for the fact that MLG sucks, but I think you guys are seriously discounting naniwa's skill. What does ability mean iyo? Naniwa has shown time and time again that he is one of the most talented players in the world, both when he is given time to prepare as well as when he gets into a groove. This is coming from someone who has a huge naniwa hater for a really long time.

If there were some way to bet on naniwa vs jim success (this would be hard to do for a number of reasons), I would definitely do it.

Based on pure performance, Naniwa is bove anyone else atm. Lucifron propably best terran, but his performances are lacking. Best zerg is hard to say, last month it was definately TLO, but now, I do not know. In general, foreigners are really good with zergs.

lol at wcs umerica results so far. Nani deff top foreigner, Lucifron and TLO probably completing the top 3. Stephano could be number one if he wasn't a lazy ****.

I want to see what Goswser does in the challenger league. Not saying to put him into that top 3 tier. Mostly want to see MURICA do something.

I'm very curious to see how he does in the Ro16 when he's not playing lolHuk or super-lagged Koreans. He always seems like he has potential but then in the Red Bull Training Grounds he lost to Golden 2-1 and Sound 3-0 (beat Select and Puck).

So any word on Blizzard getting Macsed and Jim over somehow? I think they need to move the live finals somewhere else, perhaps to Canada? Not being able to have some of the top players attend the live finals absolutely ****s your tournament.

Thats why having major esports tournaments in the us is stupid, unless you're riot and get your guys pro athlete status.

I find it really hard to believe that a company as huge as Acti/Blizz can't fix this if they throw some money at it.

Or you know actually learned how to plan ****.
