Watched that live last night (my first live SC2 in awhile). Game 5 was pretty crazy. I love that when all else failed Pet just started cheesing every game (and it almost finished the job...)

I just played my first games of LotV yesterday as well and I pre-ordered the thing. I managed to beat a platinum protoss in my first game back. This brief session did not inspire me to play regularly again tbh and it seems Kespa thought that was the final straw.

Probably a dead game in Korea unless they flatten out the individual league payouts immediately, with no salary nobody's going to play for the $3.50 you get for going out in the group stages and will retire/go back to BW/switch to overwatch or some other team game

Well i say BW, only player in the last GSL who was ever any good is Stats

Whatevs, foreigners and teamless players are the best these days anyways.

In what will probably be the last time any of us give a **** about SC2, Blizzcon starts tomorrow. There's conflicting info on TL but two sources say it starts at 8:30am Pacific/11:30am Eastern/5:30pm CET and one source says it starts an hour later.

Schedule seems super weird too according to Liquipedia...
- Oct 27: groups A & B first three matches (GSL group format)
- Oct 28: groups C & D first three matches
- Oct 29: all 4 losers' matches
- Oct 30: all 4 elimination matches
- Nov 4: quarterfinals (bo5)

First place is a whopping $200k. Fun fact: of all these players, Snute is the leader career $$ won at $279k, but winning would still leave him short of MC's $495k. Zest ($262k) and Nerchio ($232k) would also get close.

I didn't watch live and figured I could catch up from vods, but this vod of the full broadcast cuts off before game 2 of Zest vs. True. There's a full vod of their match but I don't think there's any vod of the two losers' matches that they played after that. Great job, Blizzard!

Amazing that it's 200k like 10× what it was when it was the biggest esport and now it's dead. Think if any players played for the money and quit they were rather foolish.

Apparently workers have this thing where they can spray your decal on the map or something? So that Blizzard can sell more decals in the in-game store?

Anyway, there's a bug where the mouse cursor changes based on buildings being under it when that ability is active, even if they're in the fog of war and you don't see them. Great work Blizzard!

Whether I watch Blizzcon now depends on whether the newly returned to BW Jaedong is streaming at the time
