2014 Global StarCraft II League Season 3 - Page 3 - Video Games

Pretty insane that Soo has basically thrown two games now where he was on 5 base muta-corruptor versus 3. I'm not sure if the first one was a throw or not but that last one on Yeonsu was pretty bad for him to lose.

so going mutas vs protoss seems like a good way to lose to a solid player (unless you have a big lead, in which you can more or less do anything) because you have no units that hard counter his anti-muta except ultras, which will leave you massively open to being attacked while you spend a billion gas getting them

More caster fail: Soo proxy hatches Overgrowth at Zest's gold base, Tasteless is like "I guess this is a ling-roach rush?", not knowing that Soo has done this build before and it's a spine rush on the natural wall.

Soo later does the same build he did against Super in the Kespa Cup (proxy hatch @ natural wall against nexus first into gate). In the Kespa Cup, Wolf said "I guess he's gonna cancel the hatch and let the lings run through", but the build is that you let it finish and make a queen + lings out of the hatch. Doing the build now vs. Zest, Wolf says the same thing - he thinks he's gonna cancel the hatch and let the lings run through. Nope.

also massive LOL that neither tasteless nor wolf could identify the robo in game 4 by looking at the warping in building. i could do that when i was in gold league.

prob was you goofy, but big fu for pointing out how aids these two are together. its one thing when its just tasteless, but i lost a lot of respect for wolf during these last 2 series

Finals are going to be SICK ****ING CITY though. Win or lose it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster for Soo, and if Innovation wins then I get to be completely right about all my Terran balance whining. But I hope Soo wins anyway.

idk what Pinnacle's format is - they say money line is soo 1.952, innovation 1.900. Does that mean bet $1, get back $1.952/$1.900 if you win? I guess that means they have them pretty even.

i still stand by terrans being the best/highest skilled people overall. innovation first was a boss when hellbat drops were the best, he fell off the top before widow mine nerf

money line just means you are betting on who is gonna win the match (so first to 4)
for decimal odds 2.0 is equivalent of +100 so 1.9 is around -110

Those lines are way off. I would have inno at 1.5, terran just can't lose if they play safe versus roach banes burst. Zergs have to cheese to take games off terrans nowadays.
