Sorry for posting here guys because I am definitely NOT a high stakes limit specialist, in fact I hardly play poker anymore but I thought I read somewhere that Mike Schneider (Schneids) is in the process of authoring an Ebook on limit hold 'em. Is this true? Even though I hardly ever play anymore, this is something I would LOVE to read because I recall reading a lot of Schneids' posts when I was learning limit hold 'em a few years ago and I kind of "looked up" to him a great deal back then.

Anyone?

Yeah it's true I'm lazy. But I also like writing and new challenges.

So yeah, I'm working on one (I'm guessing OP recalled me briefly mentioning it in a blog once this winter). I started in mid December, and by mid Jan thought I might be able to finish by the end of February. My goal was at least 100 pages in Word by then. I made that goal, but still felt nowhere close to being done. I didn't work on it a ton in March, and am currently up to 115 pages in Word. I can't estimate when I'll be done because most of my planned remaining work to do for it is rather time consuming tasks that I'm not particularly looking forward to (ie lots of math and range analysis and number crunching). I'm definitely not trying to rush it to a release, so it'll be done when I feel like it's far and away the most complete advanced concepts book ever created on LHE.

I've enjoyed working on it because it's keeping my own LHE wits sharp and I'm learning things and reinforcing certain ideas along the way too. Plus it's helping motivate me to play more hands of online poker, partially just to try to be given more ideas for the book and partially because it's helping to make poker more fun again.

That Q9 logic is genius, its basically the main strategy that I've employed and gathered through my friendship with Mike over the last few years. I attribute it and only it to the reason I win all the money.

schneids is it true that you will also include some haikus throughout the pages? is that what they mean by balancing your range?

i hope its affordable like stoxtraders book and not like the recent slew of 2k books which are never heard of a month after they come out.

I read Stox's book after winning for 4 straight months, and instantly went on a downswing of confusion. Then I read Mathematics of Poker, and quit poker.
