rate these bluffs

all hands vs same solid reg. last 2 happened in the same session within a couple orbits of each other. his stats are 36/27 5-6 handed, 40/54 showdown, all around pretty tough... 2.7k hands in my current db all post bf. for hand 1, is overall turn cbet is 67 if that would affect your decision. for hand 2, he has shown up with light caps, so i assume he is probably capping a reasonably balanced range. for hand 3, i cant recall him taking this line previously. if you feel that any of the bluffs are profitable, would you prefer to do so with any specific hands in your range?

Re: rate these bluffs

i dont see why we wouldnt want some bluffs in all of these situations vs a good thinking player.?

if u put in some hand candidate(s) for each hand i think it would make for a better discussion

Re: rate these bluffs

Hand 1 we should have a fair number of value combos as i assume you flat most pairs in this spot, if you raise all your ax and tx on the flop then its a pretty bad turn spot to bluff.

Hand 2 I like the least I think you have very few value combos on that river, and he's going to have to be extremely trusting to fold. It seems like its one of the spots where when everyone gets checkraised they make a fu calldown.

Hand 3 we have around 107 raise-able value combos so around 13 combos to bluff is GTO, maybe T9ss, QTss and Q9ss.

Re: rate these bluffs

I think hand 1 is good. If you never raise flop I would bet turn 100%. River is tougher. He turn barrels some gutter/flush draws, so I don't think he's that light here.

I would river bluff all floats and things like QJ by the river. I would also bluff some K-highs if my float range was really small on the flop. It seems tightish but I could see polarizing your value range on the river to 9x+ and maybe Tx because you can blow him off much more of his range. In such a case you could be bluffing with 22 even...

Hand 2 is tough. You have to turn some of your hands into a bluff here, but you are repping strong. You probably have minimal sd value. I think it's fine and probably expert to bluff with the bottom end of your range, but it has to be at a low %. I would need the As. If he has something like As9x he is calling your ass.

Hand 3 if he's never done it before I would not think about this too hard. I think this is a vbet with a lowish pair or AK that thinks you have a really low river barrel %. I used to do this with 33 or 45s to b/3b with some success but I think that's fairly uncommon. I am ok with a raise. You have all big jacks, maybe all jacks and better in your raise range. But if you have a high pf 3b% bvb like I do you're probably getting looked up as a default the first time.
