Foxwoods 40-80? Foxwoods 40-80?

Thinking about heading to fw. This game still goes right? Also, how the fk do I get a deal on rooms? Last time I was at fw I had a roach in my room and they wouldn't give me anything. The kid I was with was firing 500 a hand jack and they wouldn't comp him anything either. Regs told me that they stay like 4 days a week for free -- someone plz hook me up.

this game still run ever with any consistency? also do they still have 20-40s running around the clock?

I haven't seen it running at all in the past few months but I'm usually there on the weekends. Have seen an interest list here and there but that's about it.

Bump for BK1248's post in this thread:

"Re: Foxwoods 40-80?
anytime 2 aggro players with a brain start stealing and restealing everyone from foxwoods cries collusion because instead of RR with A10/KQ vs a steal raise foxwood regs just CC because they are so passive and braindead

about 7 years ago I reraised A7o on button from CO open and the guy called the floor and said I saw his cards because I wouldnt RR with that ish."

I don't believe the A7o story, but I want to. When I started playing 20 stud a couple years ago, they all thought of me as "the holdem player." One day a couple old regs asked me if the 20 lhe game was legit bc Paul K. said he thought something funny was going on, citing his lack of winning sessions as evidence.

Guys, FYI this game ran 3-8 players Saturday and Sunday and we're going to try to keep it going. Hope to get more players.

I've played it a bunch of times....Saturday night was huge full ring game.... seen it go late Sat nights, don;t play Tuesday's...'

solid, keep updating when it runs, I have a 1.5-2 hr drive so if it is running consistently then me and a couple others may come down

The game rarely goes unless Joe and I are there heckling people to play bigger than 20

I had a guy accuse me of collusion in O8 after I just called down with KKxx on K444x after getting check/raised on the flop. I had no idea what his contention was. I think they just have grumpy people who like to cry wolf.

He was in the hand and folded otf, and you checked back the turn when quads donk checked. Unpossible to actually reason your way into finding that check, so you must have been colluding. QED.

Yeah I played Sat and booked small win for 3rd time in row then come out Sunday and start HU (where I figured I might have an edge against a live FR player) and proceed to lose 40 bets in an hour, get 3 handed and I win most back, then HU again against different gentleman and lose 40 just as quick, then 3 handed and played breakeven. Lost 85 bets HU and won 35 when 3 handed, you do the math lol. Been a long time since a day like that (real grinders laughing in background).

Nobody else would play with us from 3 tables of 20's on Sunday. Good serving of humble pie for me and I'm still trying to get taste out of my mouth. Back to drawing board online and no more 40 unless at least 3-4 players for me (at least for a little while). My roll is definitely smaller than most players in the pool so have to grind out in smaller online games for a bit. They should have it going most weekends though. I be back sooner than later.

It was FR on Saturday night / Sunday morning. I was stunned. I was happy I was out of the way of the certain individual that looked like he steamrolled the game; makes it more likely that he'll still be playing it when I'm ready to shot take

It happened again and was pretty full too. This thing might be able to last if regulars commit to playing it (so the people that make the game actually show up to play)

Recognized / knew almost everyone. I think it was like 7 regs and 2 randoms.

I played in this game this weekend, and definitely think that some sort of email list about when it is planned to run would be really good.
