enough but not enough?

I have a question to throw at all you pros/regs to high stakes limit holdem-
i would def. call myself an amatuer, but can't stand playing lower limit games. Money is really not an issue, so how high would one recommend a novice play with adequate skill level? And no, i won't come join your game...lol

Re: enough but not enough?

To get the most feedback which will actually do you any good, I would recommend asking the same question in the medium stakes lhe nc/lc thread. Lots of professional lhe players frequent that forum, and they play the live highstakes lhe games that run regularly (30/60 and higher). Plus they ask the right questions so you can make an informed decision.

Without much info, I would suggest finding a live 6/12 or 8/16, then jumping in 15/30 or 20/40 games once you get comfortable and put in a solid amount of hours.

Good luck.

The 50/100+ games on pokerstars are a friendly environment for aspiring amateurs

If money isn't an issue play as big as you want to... I can't imagine someone going to a blackjack table in Vegas saying money is no issue and asking how much they should bet. Figure out what your tolerance is and hope to run good, afterall aren't you just gambling anyway?

I agree with DJ. For all you know, you might like to play stuff like Badeucey that you'll only find in the bigger mix games, so 20-40 won't really cut it.
