Kobe plays some pretty high stakes. Sure, 15k is a decent chunk of change, but I am sure Kobe's lifestyle will not be affected if he is out 15k. So if he could pop a cap in his head in old times and not have to worry about getting in trouble, that would probably be satisfactory enough.
