lost QQ to AK aipf for chiplead with 40 left of the deep stacks and busted shortly after .... also busted the $55 ko 20k .... have some nice stacks but pretty early
Hey Brian, I know Sundays can be long and withering and I am only a casual investor, but your rail thread includes a few updates early in the day and then nothing. At times during peak hours you have 15+ tables running including things like sattys to the sunday 500 and second chance. As an investor I am interested to see bust hands specifically in the higher buy in range. Your OP does not specify that you will be running tournaments outside the package, esp. at that table count. While I'm sure you will tally first thing tomorrow, I would appreciate a final cashes/refund and a few more updates as an investor the day of.
Hey guys, sorry for the lack of update posts yesterday. Usually I am probably over-posting in the rail thread haha, so this was a drastic change of pace. Right before Stars started having major problems (crazy lag and disconnects over and over for an hour+), my roommate Lenny plugged in his space heater under his desk. I had one plugged in under mine too, on the same wall, and boom ... there went our power about 20 seconds later. So computers crashed (I play on a laptop, so was ok, but had to move all my 15~ tables to my laptop only) and roommates were freaking out, one needed my other laptop, one was screwed, it was chaotic to say the least. Then the Stars problems started literally a couple seconds after that, and we joked about how we probably caused the problems by blowing the circuit.
With lots of tables on a laptop, pulling up the browser to update is the last thing on my mind while playing. I do apologize for not updating during the breaks at some point but I was just oi as hell after losing QQ to IGT's AK for chiplead after barely getting my chips in due to the disconnect in the deep stacks, the power etc. So yeah this was unlike me as all you regular investors know, I usually flood the rail with updates.
John, regarding the other games - Sorry it wasn't specified in the OP, it probably should be when I am selling to lots of big buy-in games. I sell to 100% of the sessions I am playing in the MP and have become comfortable keeping it short. I have a large group of regular investors who are all well aware of what they are investing in, as I play a wide range of games $22> each day and reach 15 tables regularly. But yeah I forget that they aren't the only ones buying, I will start including more info. Thanks.
Yes, very unlike you indeed. I knew something weird happened. Just had that feeling. My money was on a meteor strike but your explanation of what happened works just as well... lol.
