Omc opener folds and young kid makes it 5k. I typically won't 4b cold this spot to fold to this type players 5b so I rip and he snaps AK. I don't hate my play, it's really early to be 6b jamming but I think with this day 1 it's better to err on the side of aggression. I won an allin with KQ very next hand so we are sitting a little over 3k.

Ha playing bad and winning I guess. 4 way and I have 67s on 10 7 5r Flop. Short stack with 10bb donk shoves. Folds to me and I meh call getting 2 to 1. Kinda thought it was a little borderline for him to have a 10 here given opener would cbet a lot but shrug get there with flush o river vs Q10. After two small chip ups we are at 10k ish.

Turn brings double gutter and fd. I chk call the small bet on turn and board pairs river to go chk chk. Not a card I want to bluff even tho I was pretty sure I had little SD value. He shows AQ. I was actually thinking to rip some bluff outs if I miss as I had like 2x pot but oh well. Sitting at about 7k. We good.

What sold me on folding more than anything is she didn't even acknowledge with her eyes the big stacks that flatted her open. She was 100% fearless. I was drawing very thin. Not to mention I've actually really tightened up the last hour or so. No real playable spots until then.

Ew **** our lives. Min open ep, two callers, and Shor stack young kid shoves 8bb. I reshove 18bb or so with A10. Folds around to last caller and he shrug flicks it in with 77. Young kid has A5o and we lose a flip. Gg. Those with Sunday action get excited because I got a feeling we were meant to play that schedule.

Perhaps I sense a fair bit of sarcasm here but to clarify my line of thinking: with 35bb I didn't feel deep enough to play this hand Oop in a 4way pot being so strong pre, I felt the callers ranges were pretty much dominated and with my sizing I still had opportunity to keep a range(s) that I dominate in while pushing out speculative hands a great portion. I was bluffing vs opener but the fact of the matter is, we are almost never going to see 99-1010 here or AJs... It's just not going to happen as played. This coming from an extraordinary amt of hours played at lower limit live cash with this exact type player.

exactly the sentiment. having reads like this which forces you to fold premiums just sucks especially when you play super patient for a long time. truly a grind requiring much discipline.

Definitely. I'd say today an interesting one but all things considered, it's fine and we will have another live event next week to do work in. These events are great tho, and it'll be even more fun when we can afford more bullets on future series. Only gives more reason for playing a very high variance style of play that creates big stacks.
