I rate Matty as a player and have reasonable confidence he will at least break even from any $10K worth of play, but the situ still sucks. 3 months and no returns? Sounds like a job for Uncle Andy and the Kneebreakers.....

Btw I have been playing with Matty in the past week @ low-mid hyper-turbos. I agree with Omahaha in that if you are looking for CLOSE to guaranteed returns, H-T ain't the way to go. Even the #1 ranked yearly players have HUGE swings ($thousands) in 6-max hyper-turbos. Heck even in 18-man turbo you can get shafted for a few months - there has to be a reason why almost ALL of the old regs (like hammr, schemee vegas, personal, macros, wadzon, bid23biz, brutaliser20 etc, etc) seem to avoid these games.

No, the package wasn't getting completed on schedule so matty was asked to show that he had the cash in his account. He couldn't show and sent us all PMs stating that he made a withdrawal and "made a decision that it would be okay to divert the money for a short period of time". He owes us about 6k total.

Ah OK - so he used his staking as a travel fund, assumed he would pay it back with winnings at his locations, didn't, and is now short. I'm sure it will come good eventually, sucks in the meantime though.

I find Matty's lack of responses quite disconcerting. I am starting to wonder if he has even a fraction of our money left in his poker accounts.

Matty, please let us know how much of our stake you have left and when we can start to expect receiving payments.

Robdag paid in full on 15 May 2014. Next payment will be 1 June 2014. I will pay investors in full if possible, if not then the payment will be spread among all. I expect to pay the next two investors in full in the next two payments, and then the last three over a few installments.

Paying the investors with the least stake first is not the way to go. Partial payments to each payments proportion to their % is the right way. I'd ask that you get robdag to refund your money and have you redo the repayment process.

That was my initial plan. But I felt it better to make one person 100% happy rather than 6 people 5% happy. At least for this repayment amount. If I had a larger amount right now I would have done that.

I am happy to redistribute if robdag is happy to oblige.

Also, after looking at your sharkscope, i have a few questions. I see that you've played >800 tournaments this month and made >$1700 with ABI around $3. I'm going to assume you haven't found backing elsewhere because you're still playing micros. Why are you continuing to play with our money? And why have "we" only received $300 while you've made 1700?

Both of this. Your lack of communication is mind bending. This question needs to be answered right now : "Why are you continuing to play with our money?

I said it before, I'll say it again. We have absolutely nothing to gain from you continuing to play. You need to :



1) Send every last cents in your account divided between the investor in prorata TODAY


AND


2a) Find a new backer willing to trust you to keep playing micros (should get harder by the minute now) and refund us in increments with your part of the proceeds.

OR

2b) Get a real job and pay the balance in increments every 2 weeks or something.

Nothing else is acceptable and should be considered as a scam.

I wanted to do something today, despite my low bankroll, to show intent. Again, I am really sorry for this horses**t. I f'd up and will make it right.

@Vinny80: you're absolutely right, except some of the money in my account was due to IRL investors from waayyy back so I can't pay every penny out. At this point (with today's payment) I have paid back more than I had when this fiasco started. Regarding a real job: given my life circumstances (on a remote hill in Mexico) my only feasible income at the moment is poker - so that is what I'm using. When something else comes up (I'm working on it) I will do that.

Hey guys! Just finished a crazy cross-country move (actually inter-country). I am finally at the new place and will be grinding a little on Bovada while looking for a real-world job.

Last payment was 2.5% on July 31st. Next will be on Sept. 1st.

As I'm no longer able to play on Stars if you have PayPal I can use that for repayment (PM me info) or Jed-Forest previously generously offered to distribute to those who don't have PayPal. It will be easier for him if he doesn't have to do that, but it is up to all of you.

Hey guys. Sorry for the delay on the payment/updates. I've been job hunting IRL and finally locked something down. I'm also just about able to cash out some Bovada funds I've been grinding up. That check should be here in time for getting this back on track by Oct. 1st. Very sorry to miss a month, but continuity was difficult given the big move I just made.
