1k on 6/10:

Late regged about an hour in, had an absurdly soft table. Ran 3k up to 18k or so, then had to get it in a couple spots and lost, then ran it back up then ran AKs in to AA. Had a good time, played pretty spewy to run it up big or bust to play TD and did the latter.

2.5k Triple Draw on 6/10

Played really well, one of my favorite games. Someone showed me a 2p2 post where some TD reg on here said that they thought I was the best player, which I thought was nice, and probably not true but says a bit about about my engagement and table image, I think.

Played pretty nitty and straightfoward since I thought there were a couple spots where people made errors, and made several decisions that I am sure TD regs will think are nonstandard, but was right every single time, same as last year when I made a deep run in this.

Ended day 1 with 12k from 7.5, then ran it up really quick at the beginning of Day 2 then lost 2 really unlucky pots and ran it back down, then made one catastrophic misclick that cost me 2 big bets, and then got it in really good 2 more times drawing way ahead in big pots and lost both and busted.

I was really happy with my play on Day 1, and thought I played mediocre to bad (or at the very least too spewy) during my short stay on Day 2. I'd like to say that late regging the 6max wasn't on my mind, but I imagine it was. This was the only time so far this WSOP I was annoyed with my play.

3k 6-max on 6/11

Got sick table draws, and just pillaged everyone all day. Made a ton of calls with 3rd pair and worse on rivers, was right every single time. Made such an absurdly small number of value hands, which was even more absurd considering I was playing VPIP > 60 the entire time because of my draws.

Had a fun hand to close out Day 1, UTG opens I flat CO with 89, comes 784ss, check/check, turn T, he check/calls 2/3 pot, river offsuit K, he leads for 50% pot and I decide that his range is super capped and he gets uncomfortable as I tank so I just pile a bunch of chips on him and he folds. Hands like that got me most of my money on Day 1.

Ran 9k up to like a Day 1 peak of 60k or so doing nothing other than playing sick well with nothing post flop, had zero double ups and won zero allins. At the start of Day 2 made a couple big hands to get to 130k then just ran over the table to get up to around 170 or so.

Then, late on Day 2 got allin for the first time TT < AQ, then had a hand vs Todd Terry where he opened A3dd, I flatted, he cbets 873 one d board, I call, he bombs Td turn, I call, he jams Qd river, I fold, then got allin for the second time and lost KJs < 88, then got allin for the third time and lost A9 < KQ.

Cashed in 52nd out of 950 or so without winning a single meaningful AIPF or doubling, which I thought was good. Felt like I needed to win about 4 allins to ship the tournament, but it was not to be.

2.5k 4max on 6/14

Probably the event I was most excited for this series. My table draws were ludicrous I recognized 2 people at my tables and one of those was Bill Klein.

Just raped everybody all day again, ran 7.5 up to 50k or so again, then lost a huge pot against a fish that was kind of weird but people I respect think I played it fine so w/e. Then squeezed 23bb from SB over Doc Sands open in the CO and fish button flat and Doc woke up with AQ and I couldn't get there.

1.5 Single Draw on 6/15

I think this might be my highest edge over the field event after the shorthanded NL ones. I feel really good about this event, and made some side-bets on myself. Went to sleep dreaming about a bracelet

Had a really solid plan about how my play was going to evolve over the day that I thought was really good, and really found a ton of good spots to chip up at my first table and had perfect position on the one ubernit fish and just snowed him like 7 times and took all his money and squeezed and raised in perfects spots and just figured out what everybody was doing and adjusted really well, and then ran well and hit draws when I needed to and ended Day 1 with 33.8k from 4.5k starting.

Coming back for Day 2 today with an absurdly deep and aggressive table, 66 left and 35 pay and my table has 2nd (chewy), 3rd (cantu, apparently playing stupidly aggro), me, noctus and a couple average stacks. The money should fly pretty early, so I have a great chance to run it up.

Mincashed the Single Draw. Lost an unlucky pot early to drop to around 18bbs, could've saved a bit by bet/folding getting inf odds post draw, but didn't, and then had to play nittier than I wanted to (probably erroneously so) on the bubble. One hand was egregiously nitty I think, Cantu opened CO and I flatted on BT with like 15bbs with a pat T8 instead of jamming because of bubble ICM... there were 37 left with 35 paid, it's clearly massively -cev, someone who knows more can tell me what kind of edge I need to get it in that close to the $.

Cashed a few hands later, then got it in good against Cantu cold 4 his 3b of chewy with a pat T9 and he drew a 1 notch better T9 to bust me.

Skipped the 1.5k and 1k (busted the single draw too late to reg the 1.5, took Sunday off)

Played the 5k PLO 6 max this morning, and played somewhere in between decent and not great, then jumped in the 2.5k mixed holdem and played too loose, lost every pot in quick succession and busted in less than an hour.

Bustout hand got it in with 64 vs 66 on Q64cc, dead as a doornail gg.

Gonna relax tonight and rejuvenate myself for the shootout and (hopefully not) 8game tomorrow

Struck out again today.

Couldn't get much going in the shootout, lost most of my chips in a really weird pot against Athanasios where I guess I kinda got coolered but I put in inf chips valuebetting when drawing dead idk I was just so wrong kinda made my head asplode.

Played the 8game and had probably the best table draw in the room and the most frustrating tournament experience so far this series. Came in intending on playing really tight but there were 3 outrageous fish and the guy to my direct right had literally never played 7 of the 8 games before, didn't even know the rules to several of them, told people what he had, did things like cold call a 3bet int he bb and then draw 5 in 2-7 or pat AAKQT and bet 3 streets or cap it pre with 965 rainbow in Stud 8 or showing a king in razz and so I widened up a ton and tried to get him and just lost every single hand until I busted, was very frustrating but at least it was over quickly.

On the fence about the 1.5k tomorrow, I'll figure it out on the morning. Definitely playing the 10k PLO, almost definitely skipping the 2.5k limit 6max on Thurs.

Busto 1500. Made some boss plays to build a stack then lost a 70/30 for a bunch then kind of punted my last 5k about an hour later in a bad spot.

PLO was ludicrous, got it in 4 times absurdly good and went 0/4 and was out in 2 hours, all the hands are on my twitter.

Bust 3k today, took a pretty sick line with aces I think against lindgren but ran into a set. Lost last 16 bbs AJ < JJ in a spot where I really should have folded, was disappointed in myself to finish both the 1.5k and 3k with really marginal spots that I likely should have passed on.

First five tournaments ran up starting to 5x or higher, last 7 have just utterly struck out. Lost around 12 allies in a row, which doesn't really mean much since you can go 12/24 over 7 tournaments and still not cash any of them or go 6/24 and win a bracelet.

Pretty excited about the OE tonight, made day 2 of this last year. Obviously not playing the 50k at this point, and probably taking at least one day off this weekend to reboot.

Made Day 2 of the OE with 14k. Worked it up to around 34k then lost 3 huge pots in a row and was out.

Played the satellite to the 50k and won it, so now I'm considering playing it, but need to sell more action.

Couldn't sell any action to the 50k, so I passed on it.

I ran really well in the satty to win the $50k, which is lame since nobody had action in it, but it should at least be encouraging that I can still crush when I run well, and it also rebooted my confidence and mental stability. I can imagine it's frustrating for investors, if I had run that well in any nlhe tourney I easily would've FT'd. But, them's the breaks I guess. Definitely a solid boost, I've been a bit stressed out lately and so that made me feel a lot better.

Played the 2.5k today. Ran it up to 23k early playing a ton of hands and running some pretty sick bluffs and running well and smashing boards at the right times. Lost a bunch of pots to Jymaster who was on my left, went down to 11k, then made probably the dumbest call of my life and got it in 40/60 for 22k and lost.

Was left with around 1bb coming back from dinner break. Ran that up to 35k, then lost a 75k pot Q4ss < 54o on T54ss right before the last break of the day.

Gonna get a good night of sleep tonight and get ready to tear up the Venetian 10k tomorrow.

Ran really hot on day 1, had about a quarter of the chips with 12 of the 27 players left.

Entered day 2 with a bit above average 5 handed and three spots paid 128k, 77k, 51k so a pretty sick money bubble.

Chipped up well early, was second in chips four handed then 4bet/called KK vs Chris Oliver's AQo for 125bbs each and for about half of the chips in play and lost, which was pretty heartbreaking considering how bad I wanted to win this.

Was left with 56k to amaks 40 at 1/2 with igor and daize about even. Managed to pick up enough resteal hands to outlast him during an hour long sick bubble, and had 38k at the start of 3 handed. Jammed 30 on the button at 1.2/2.4 with QT into daize's A8 and whiffed, out in third. Made three pretty nitty folds four handed and would have busted on all three.

Pretty sick week with shipping the 50k 8game, running up a big stack in the 2.5k and then 3rd here to finally put some returns into my package. Really wanted to win this so bad, but sometimes it's just not meant to be.

Cashed 4 of 13 tourneys so far. Playing the 5k tomorrow, and then skipping the 10game on Friday which really kills me but I have friends coming into town.

Good to see you doing well in the 5k. Taking it down in such a dangerous field would be sick.

Ran insanely hot Day 1 of the 5k and ended the day 5th in chips with 130k.

Day 2 felt like I ran really badly for the first six hours and had to do some hood stuff and some creative things to stay afloat. After dinner was the opposite story, I won 2 20bb flips and my only allin, but lost a lot of pots without showdown in between each. Ended Day 2 with 307k.

Day 3 was over pretty quickly. Made a pretty big fold based on livereads that I quickly became much more confident in watching the guy in another hand where he turned the nuts and gave off the exact same tell that caused me to fold earlier, then won a couple pots and then got it in vs a big lag CO vs BT for like 28 bigs TT < AK in a super standard open/3b/4b jam spot. Cashed for ~20k in 39th of 40th or something.

Played the 25k satty to one drop (not a part of the package) and busted pretty quickly. Bluffed off half my stack in a standard spot imo, then the rest in a pretty coolerish spot to Scott.

Cashed in 5/20 tournaments so far this summer (4/18 in the package) with a bunch of big stacks and deep runs, but haven't been able to run well deep in anything yet.

Feel pretty confident that I'm saving up that close-out rungood for my favorite two events coming up this week, the 10k six max and 10k single draw. The 3k PLO8 should be an amazing value as well. Likely skipping the 1.5k tomorrow, really cannot miss the 10k 6max for any reason.

Frustrating day yesterday.

Made literally zero hands for seven hours in the 10k and couldn't get anything going. Snapped off a moorman bluf in a huge pot where he turned a pair into a bluff on river for a bunch, then picked off Lee Markholdt's bluff with K high and ran a bunch of other bluffs in big pots to stay alive, then got some of my bluffs shat on or called and stayed around 30k all day.

Fairly confident I did not make a single value bet the entire day, I made a pair one time and checked it back and got Racener to fire again, an that was about it. Swung up and down, nitted up a lot and eventually got allin for the first time when I ripped 13k over racener's 2.4x button upon at 250/500 where he was opening every button and he called with 44 which seems pretty ambitious, had QT literally the stone bottom of my range and bricked out gg.

Jumped in the PLO8 and made one mistake early but felt like I played some of my best poker of the series, it's a game where people play really face up and you can really figure out exactly what people have and I found a bunch of spots to blow people off hands or halves of pots and chipped up to 17k fairly painlessly with only one big hand, and then at the end of the night lost three back to back to back pots allin pre:

Open A25J one suit one flatter, gets potted by Protential in BB, I repot, he sighcalls with 2233r, we chop in a 25k pot. Next hand limped A2K8 double suited to trap this guy who loved to iso my EP limps wide, and repotted him and got it in vs A349r and it runs out J6969 and I get scooped in a 22k pot or so. Next hand I get in my last 10bb in BB with QQ23 one suit over an open and a flat and am somehow against AA4x and A2Jx and brick out and I'm out.

Felt pretty frustrated, except for one hand early felt like I played nearly perfectly in the PLO8 and adjusted to specific player tendencies really well, but could be overevaluating myself since I'm not an expert in that game.

Taking today off, and absurdly excited to go win a bracelet in the single draw on Thursday, which is my favorite game.
