GL US first tournament is Saturday 12pm EST follow my twitter for updates

The first event was a bust. Got 75 entrants. I made it past late reg/first break, and went out shortly after. I came in maybe 45th.

The hand of my demise was AAQ6 with a suit in the big blind. Couple limpers, blinds are 600/1200 i pot it to maybe 5k, leaving me with like 30k behind. Two callers. Pot is maybe 17k, flop comes JQx with two hearts. I pot, someone else calls for all in, third person shoves, I call. One has a wrap, the other has AKKx with hearts. Turn a blank, aces are still good. River the 9 of hearts.

Was a very interesting experience to play this PLO tournament, and I enjoyed it. Not going to complain about switching back to holdem though. Next event is tomorrow, June 18th at 12pm EST.

Today was the 12pm NLH 10k gtd $100bi + $100 addon. 30mins into the tournament, I am dealt aces. Player to my right makes it 2.5x, I 2.5x his raise, someone to my left shoves, he calls, i call. They show kings and 7s. I hold! What a miracle. That put me at 40k, with blinds being super low.

For the next two hours I am card dead. I manage to pick up some blinds here and there and bring my stack up to mid 50ks. Get a nice knockout with pocket 4s when I am short stacked. 105 total entrants, 12 cashed. I made it to 9th with 5 big blinds. End up getting it all in with A7s vs AJ. I flop a 7! He turns a straight. Game over.

I cashed for $295, leaving us with $95 profit after the $200 buyin.

Today was the 12pm NLH 2.5k gtd $120bi. I did not sleep well and opted not to play this small tournament. Backers will be refunded accordingly at the end of the tournament series.

Yesterday I played the $120 final table chop. I was pretty card dead, played decently though, and did not make the final table. Tomorrow I am playing the $140 5k gtd 6max. Looking forward to it! No events today.

Oh boy where do I begin.

Yesterday I played the $140 6 max. I played my A game the whole tournament. Got up to 20 bigs at the 3k/6k level with like 20 players left. 9 paid in this event.

Game continues, and we're down to maybe 15. I get QQ and have the right stack where shoving makes sense. I shove on the button, small blind calls, bb mucks. SB shows AK. Flop AA3, turn K. LOL. There goes 2/3rds my stack. I hang onto the rest of my stack until there's 12 people left. I get A3o in the big. I have maybe 4-5 bigs. Small blind puts me all in, I call. He shows 67s. Flop 89x. Turn Ace. River 10. Basically bubble the tourney.


Today at noon I played the $140+$100 addon. I was completely card dead, missing every draw, and picking the wrong spots to make moves. Ended up busting in the first 3 hours with a mediocre hand.

I have decided not to play the $160 tonight. All backers will be refunded proportionatly next week, along with the profits. So far I have min cashed for $295, refunded a $120, and refunded a $160. That's a total of $575 in cashes so far. A backer for 10% will receive $57.50 back if I do not cash in the big $500 100k gtd tomorrow/sunday.

I am going to spend time with family tonight and get a good night sleep. I am very excited and thankful for the opportunity to be playing in this big tournamnent. I've been hearing atlk at the casino that first place might exceed $40k. Max players is 360. Let's go!

Alright everyone. Today was very short lived. I played the $500 100k gtd. 2 hours in, at 38k chips from a starting 30k, and feeling great. Get dealt AK. Someone raises, I reraise, he calls. Flop KQx. He checks, i bet, he calls. Turn J. He checks, I bet, he min raises, I call. River he bets, I call. He shows A10 for the nut straight. That cost me about 15k.

Card dead for a bit, then pick up KQs. Same dude raises small, I reraise, player to my left (big stack) calls, everyone else folds. Flop KQ6. I bet, he raises, I call. Turn a blank. I bet, he goes all in, I call. He shows 66. River a blank.

Out of the 8 tournaments on my package, I did not play 2 of them (A $120 and a $160) and will be refunding those. I bubbled one, min cashed one for $295, and busted the others. Backers will be receiving their share of $575.

10% = $57.50
