To be fair, given all three people were from outside the US, it was probably worth pointing out that the rent is above average.

OP - the garden sounds nice, good to hear you're trying to have a semi-normal life instead of staying at Bedbug Motel and grinding 1/2 NL for 17 hours a day (the TwoPlusTwo Dream).

The American Southwest has been in drought for a few years so you may want to look up some drought-resistant plants and water-saving gardening strategies in case there are water restrictions. Northern California just got a metric ****ton of water (that's 2.205 imperial ****tons) in January but not sure how far southeast the relief extended.

I take it you've never watched House Hunters International or lived in Europe or Australia.

Basically, what we call the "backyard" they call the "garden."

Maybe I should have read all the replies prior to getting all stalkerish and trying to figure this out myself. After finding the house and looking at nearby comps for sale I was guestimating $500k (somewhat optimistic).

After reading your post I looked on Zillow and apparently this house was sold in November of 2016 for $405k. Zillow estimates it's value at $438k.
