I guess it had just started the morning of the day we got there to visit. Was still burning when we left. We were there for 5 days.
haven't seen anything about it in a couple days so this might have changed but originally it came out that some dude (volunteer firefighter actually..lol?) drove into one of those huge propane tanks and it exploded. 100% contained now but is supposed to smolder for a couple months i guess.

The nearest slopes are within a half hour at Eldora. The Boulder bus goes there.

Vail is about 2 hours, more if there is traffic. Loveland is before the tunnel.

Boulder is a fun place. Let me know if you need referrals to games. There are many home games.

if anyone who reads this actually wants to move to colorado in the near and not completely ambiguous future(/hater,sry) pm me im currently in tahoe my lease is up in nov and id consider moving back to a ski town in co for the winter.

also blackhawk is horrible and playing 1-2-100 spread limit is one of the worst ways to try to make a living off poker.its to small and ur playing 14 hands an hour. there are a ton of people that "play for a living" in bh their mostly old smoking cigs and chomping at the bit to tell u the story of the time they got a table share of the sickest bad beat jackpot ever.its the most depressing casino environment ive ever been to.worse than ac and reno.

I currently have a house in Westminster, which is about 15 min drive from boulder and 15 min from Denver. The basement is going to be available shortly. Probably mid October. 1100 SF, 2 br, large living room with fireplace, bar, pool table, and 65" HDTV. Bathroom, shower down there along with mini fridge. Kitchen and laundry shared. Rent is 600/Mon + utils. Also has a pretty sick back yard. If anyone is interested let me know.

We have several good casinos in Blackhawk:
Ameristar - 24 tables and they always full on Friday nights 60 people waiting list. Crazy It is nice casino almost Vegas level rakeback 1$
Lodge casino - 12 tables usually 4-6 going plus 2 $ rake back per hour the best I have ever seen for 1/2
Golden Gates 10-15 tables - pretty busy on weekends

I would recomend Lodge casino because it has great rakeback( you can get up to 4$ per hr for 1/2 if you play a lot of hours) and great floor staff

Games are good, they have 100 bet cap but they still plays like a regular NLH. Loose games get ready to gamble

It is crazy that we have 40 tables going on regular day in such small place. The only minus is huge rake 5+2 , 5 rake 2 bad beat bonus( was 400 000 plus in Ameristar)

I live in England and I want to live here. How long can UK citizens stay in the US for on a "holiday"? (i.e. without having to apply for special permits / visas etc).

Hm, interesting. If I was in CU on a student visa would I be able to evade paying tax on poker winnings? (Not a Us citizen / wouldn't have work visa, so idk?)

Surely it's better to live in North pole in a little hut, peace and quite. Nice and warm inside cold outside that nice feeling you know? No one can see your screen, no one can see your hole cards. Making lots of money move back when rich?
yes?
