Hey whats up everyone

I've been playing online for a living for about 4 years now, but I think in order to really step my game up this coming year I'm going to need to live with other players who are at least as serious as me about teh pokerz. Also it's just frustrating to live with people who have no clue what I'm actually doing, so that will be a nice change.

My main goal is to basically move into a situation where everyone is helping everyone get better. I would like to have players of at least my caliber (shouldn't be very hard) and who have the same goals as I do. I'm 25, living in the Grand Rapids, MI area, but I'm willing to relocate (possibly even out of state) if we can put together a good enough situation to warrant that. I figured I would get this out there early, as I want to make absolutely sure that I have an ideal living situation locked down before my lease is up here. My current rent/utilities are about $550 a month and ideally it would stay in that range. I'm hoping to get at least 3 people, up to any reasonable number, and I'd be more than happy to join an already established house. Just make sure that you are completely serious about poker and focused on getting better, as that's my only motivation for putting this out there. Otherwise I'd just continue living with my current situation.

also, ungar, i play cash as well, but my ptr stats are pretty dismal as of now. my hem has me a lot better than that but i still have a long way to go as far as cash games.

very open to living in vegas for a year or two but 1k rent is kind of steep for me right now.

After the WSOP I'm finally moving out of the frat house for good and have been looking around for a poker house, preferably in an area near at least 1 casino (LA, LV, etc.). I'm looking for something pretty long term with people with similar interests (poker, girls, drinking, snowboarding, etc.). Vegas wouldn't be anywhere near 1k/month per person.

can anyone list some good sites to find las vegas homes/apts for rent? craigslist is decent but i know there are other sites and if anyone knows of a particularly good one that would be helpful.

i'm thinking ideally: move to vegas/henderson around august with 4-5 other players who are committed to being sick as hell at poker, live in said house for 1-2 years, hopefully for about $300-650 per month per person. having a pool would be awesome but price is bigger factor.

I don't know anything about house prices in vegas, but aren't those a little cheap? Are they just really far away from the interesting areas or is that really the price range of houses there?

Probably not the best areas, and could be 15-20 minutes off the strip, I didn't research the places, just wanted to give an idea of the varying range of prices and places out there.

I've been talking to some people currently living in Vegas with openings, so unless we get a sick crew together I'll probably join an established house. For those of you looking, know that the housing market in LV is beyond weak at this point and you can probably get a place for even less than the pretty cheap prices listed on these sites, as there are tons of places just sitting vacant and they are a bit desperate.

I feel like you guys are looking for the same thing as me. Keep me in the loop.

This sounds like something I am looking for. My lease ends in July (live in pennsylvania) and i'm looking to get a place in Vegas once it ends with some other serious poker players.
