This is a house we rent. It is right next door to my house. It is really a great little place that has insane views of the bay and is a $10 cab from the casinos. If you are the type of person that heads to the Borgata with friends and spends a ton on a hotel, you might enjoy this place more. There is internet, cable, kayaks, crab nets, etc. The place is perfect for the AC poker series. Party on the deck with a sweet view for really cheap. Here are some facts. Feel free to ask questions in the thread.

Location: Brigantine (5 minutes from Casinos - you can see the casinos from the house)

Accommodations: 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 6). There is one queen and two singles, and a pull out. There is also another couch that people could sleep on. There is plenty of space. There is also a full kitchen, with refrigerator, microwave, etc. The bathroom (I have no pictures) was just redone and is really nice. Tiled floor, glass shower door, new sink.

Where is the bay? Right outside your front door.

Where is the beach? A block away.

How much does it cost?

June: $1000/week

July: $1100/week

August: $1100/week

September: $1000/week

October: $800/week

Winter: $500/week

These prices are really low compared to staying in a casino hotel. Parking is also free.

Overpriced

Very thoughtful post.

These prices are actually pretty reasonable. Check the Showboat for one week from 7/6 to 7/13...$1003.66 for their standard room. I have friends that rent a house in Ocean City every August and the pay about $2500 for the week. I rent out my timeshare condo in AC in the summertime for $800-$900 for the week and it's much smaller than this place.

A place like this can be shared by several people making it very cost effective, and way more comfortable than a hotel room.

Well, agree if you are going to cram in 6 people it's a decent deal...but most people on here I imagine can get Casino rate at any hotel with poker...usually 99$/night, even less weekdays.

The prices are under market as this is the first year we are renting it out. For those of you who think it is overpriced, I'm not sure what to say. We rented 8 weeks already and it has been on a vacation rental site for about two weeks.

Sure, there are poker rates for $99/night. This place starts at $500/week and sleeps 8. If you only had 2 people, that would be less than $90/night during peak times. In the winter, for $500/week, you are getting a place for as many people as you want for under $90/night total. If you have 4 people, that's like $20/night

Also, 6 people would definitely not be "crammed in."

Sorry folks, but if you want to spend your AC vacation on Brigantine island as opposed to AC that's what you're looking at.

You're still super close to the Borgata, with the privacy of your own place, in a fantastic neighborhood, WITHOUT paying for all the crap that comes with a Borgata room. Drinking some beers on the deck without the sounds of cop cars and whatnot all night, going to the local bar or just to the local store with out paying casino prices...

There isn't a better hood for 30 miles in any direction, and the ones that come close are a good ways away from the casinos. Nice beach, golf in town, wtf way better than a hotel room if you're going down for a week in almost every way.

Now if you want to sleep 5 dudes deep in a casino hotel room rather than hang out on the water at night, hey by all means

gonso he says it is a 1000 dollars for the week if two people share a room at his price that is 500 each and two in a room is not that bad. It matters what you want and if it is selling so well why are you listing it on here.

I mean, if you are the kind of guy that would rather share a bedroom with 5 dudes, be my guest. If you want some privacy, a deck, water, and a grill, this is probably a better place for you. (also comes with free x-box, games, and two TVs).

I said we rented 8 weeks. There are more weeks than 8 in a year. Plus, I think it is a great spot for poker players, especially during the fall/winter when it's $500 night.

just stopping by to vouch for OP. he's been helping me with my poker game since Nov and even sent me $100 when he didn't even really know me that well. If he says its a good deal then I believe him, b/c I don't think he would take advantage of anyone. I think he geniunely is trying to help poker players find a better place to stay near AC for events.
