Thanks.

I am possibly interested in one of the monitors. After doing a little bit of research I have a couple questions...

Is the height adjustable?

I read this comment from another owner of this same monitor,

"The only disadvantage of this monitor is that there are three pre-programmed display modes named Economy, Text, & Picture. When you have screen in Picture mode, it makes some sounds which is quite annoying at times."

I am not overly familiar with the westinghouse brand of monitors, so I am curious as to whether that is an isolated issue or something that all westinghouse monitors suffer from.

Thanks in advance for your reply

The tilt can be adjusted very easily, but not the height.

I have never heard any noise from either monitor regardless of settings, I'm guessing that person had a defective one.

Just giving my input on this monitor. I have this monitor too and its a fantastic monitor.

I bought mine new 1.5 yrs ago. It is a good monitor and i still use it. When leaving the mute off, you can hear a slight ring, but I usually turn the mute on so it doesn't bug me.

The buttons are kind of awkward on the side, but you get use to it.

I bought mine NEW 250$ shipped on buy.com. I also saw it at bestbuy for 225 about 6 months ago.

I'm not sure how prices are now, but just giving my input.

It is still a really good monitor, and I still use it today.

Do you still live in Seattle? (I bought a monitor off you last year and you dropped it off at McCarty, I live in an apt on 45th and 7th and I might be interested in this).

Malice was a pleasure doing business with and was shipped ASAP. The monitor is crystal clear and is definitely worth every $. It honestly looks barely used and adjusts very easily.

If I hook this up to my laptop w/ VGA will it still display in 1920x1200 or is it dependent on video card?

Trying to determine if I need to buy a new notebook or if a new monitor would be sufficient for easier multitabling.

When I use VGA-VGA with my comp I get 1920x1200 no problem, I'm sure as long as your laptop isn't really old it'd be fine
