Sorry for diging up an old thread, but would it be possible to get some too?
My PC is running low on RAM and would like to boost up a bit(Tracker needs it) I only have 2GB at my grinding desktop.

Yes DDR2 but need those for the recycle shop atm. Sorry.

Hopefully soon the next generation goes mobile so all quadcore desktops come to the recycle shop.

Very cool (also a little nostalgic) that you guys are giving away sticks of RAM which cost me $75 each in 2003. I look forward to 2p2 when people are giving away 2gb sticks of DDR3... in like 5 years lol.

I've heard of people recycling old computer parts for the base metals. I'd be quite curious to know if what you suggest actually works and how much you could expect to extract.

No, I have other forums accounts but I'm only really active on 2+2.

I'm very curious to. Although the chemicals are dangerous and relatively expensive I have enough chips to expect a profit from the process.
