I am going to order the 13" ftp macpro from the ftp store but only to sell it

figured id sell it to someone here and get it shipped free to them directly, rather than wait, than sell, than figure shipping and price etc....

so if anyones interested i am going to ask for $1050 for it from the ftp store to you

Unless you were to find someone selling their FTP points at $3.50 per 1000 points. Then it would only cost you $945. That is, if you were unable to negotiate a lower price per 1000 points on such a large transaction.

Seeing as there isn't anyone currently selling enough Full Tilt Points through the marketplace, that makes this a good deal at this particular time.

true, but im only trying to save on shipping here, if i bought the mac and waited for it to come, than listed it as 1050 thats a good deal than, but this way since im "using the points for someone to buy a mac" in a sense, its not such a good deal, but i disagree still and 1050 is pretty solid....

Someone would have to pay $105 more and still wait for the FT store to ship it? And it sounds like you're shipping to yourself, so it would take a detour to your residence? I'm just trying to be clear because I don't understand what convenience is provided for the extra $$$...

i was just stating that if i bought it myself and listed it as a "new macbook pro 13" laptop" people wouldnt be saying "well i can go get it for $945 with fpps" because that wouldnt even be in the topic...if you go thru the last thread of someone selling their 13" no one brought up the idea of buying it with points for 945 even if he was asking $1040 for it shipped

i feel like since i said i was getting it with points, that offering anything above the 3.5/1k is pointless now...if i dont get any interest or agree on a price probably by end of the week im going to just order it and than list it up on ebay and try to net around 1k after fees and what not...

The only reason there is any conversation about full tilt points is because you explicitly said you were going to order it from the FTP store. Everyone who has tried this before you has ended up facing the same ridicule but only because everyone who is reading your thread also has access to the FTP points for sale subforum.

I remember someone previously ordered the macbook pro from the FTP store and had it unopened in their posession. If I remember correctly they did sell it for a little more, but only because they were able to ship the macbook the next day to the buyer as opposed to waiting up to 2 months for Full Tilt to ship it.
