Played MW3 at my brothers on Xbox last weekend and had a blast. It was difficult, but I got through it.

Now I'm playing MW2 on my mac (cider port which plays really well) and I can't even get past some of the special ops on Regular, let alone any higher setting. And I'm significantly better with a mouse/keyboard then I am with a controller.

Special Ops? WTF is that?

Single/Co-Op missions separate from the campaign. I do remember them being semi-difficult certainly compared to the campaigns in CoD. Still I completed them all on the hardest setting but mostly with another person helping. It's not so bad once you know where enemy positions are.

I've played through both now (all 3 MW's actually) and 2 is definitely harder in the campaign mode. The Spec Ops are similar in regular, but MW3's seems harder on veteran. There are a couple Ops on each that I can't even imagine anyone being able to pull off, even when I watch youtube clips.

IMO easiest to harder for multiplayer is:

Black Ops - WaW - MW2 - COD4 - MW3


Campaign veteran completion is:

MW3 - MW2 - Black Ops - COD4 - WaW
