Started playing some of these steps today, grabbed 4 step2 tickets and will repeat tomorrow before moving on to step 2. Definitely not a bad way to waste some time at work.

Have never deposited on Carbon, waiting on rakeback confirmation from support before I even consider it. Maybe I won't have to.

Basically, my plan was to be VERY aggressive with my bankroll since the play was so soft and the rake so high that getting out of the micros as fast as possible was very important to me.

Here is a general overview of the games that I have played:

$0-$5 .11 supers, .02/.04 limit
$5-$10 .50 sngs, .02/.04 limit
$10-$20 $1 DoNs
$20+ DoNs w/min. 20 buyins

I would like to point out that I am lucky enough to get 35% rb daily which is where alot of my profits have come fromso far. If you are on the vip program (which is still very good) it does make it alot tougher. Hope you find this helpful!

Chance's Day 3 (cont)

Just finished my 4 remaining step 1s for the day - won them all - which gives me 8 out of 10 wins for them today (started day with one step 2)

Now have:
step 2 - 9 tix
step 3 - 4 tix

Will play more a little later! Building up quite a "step roll" (as another poster put it)!

Hey you get rakeback or are you on vip program?

not on rakeback. unfortunately i just signed up for this recently as a place to play freerolls etc post BF. this is sad but i'm actually just assuming that i'm on the "vip program" - haven't really even thought about it (rakeback - etc) and not sure if we can even get it these days??

any insights?

If you just signed up you are on the vip program. I did notice though Carbon poker advertising in Bluff magazine 35% daily rakeback. Don't really know what's going there so maybe check it out.

they stopped rakeback.. I think June 1st it ended

tbh i really didn't get on carbon to "really make money" - i mean while i'm playing i want to make a ton (don't get me wrong) - i just wanted somewhere to play a little online to get my "online fix". don't know what i'll do if i really make some money - well yes i do - get it offline quick!

sigh

can't complain too much (why complain doesn't help) - i did get my money off of stars and didn't have too much on ftp (like 125) - on stars had almost 1,200 (nothing compared to a lot of you out there) - but did get the stars money!

sure miss it though.

when you guys get a few $ try the $2.20 45 man I played 2 yesterday and got 4th for 11.25 and bubbled the next lol...they were also actually loading fast for carbon lol only had to wait about 20 mins each. The quality of play was really pretty bad, looks like most of the grinders have not found them yet

thanks for the input! haven't tried those yet. funny how when we played on stars those would fill up in 30 seconds and now you wait 20 minutes. good to know about the quality of play.

i wanted to finish up my steps that i had yesterday - but couldn't get to it. will try to get them done today... that way should start having a little $ from this!
