Wrapped up the day pretty well, played another hour long 4nl session and added a couple tables.. i've been 4 tabling and decided to try 6 with great results. Won around $8 this time around, and i'm sitting at $63.77 right now, getting closer and closer to the $80 mark so I can have 20 BIs for 4nl and play safe. Good job to everyone keep it up, any profit in a day is progress and far better than loss.

Guess the day wasn't wrapped up after all lol, couldn't sleep so jumped in the MTT Hero $99 Tournament and placed in the top nine for $11. The Hero freerolls are huge roll-boosters, so far i've cashed in 2 of these and i've played like 5 maybe.. so look into it.

Pushed my luck too far. Ran bad in a MTT and tilted off a couple of bucks in the ring games. I really only have a certain number of hours of A-game in me, and need to learn to get off the tables when I pass that.

Started from scratch on the steps since I donked off all my 2s during my winners tilt. Ran up to a couple of 2s and one 3, binked the 3, BR rebuilding to $11.92.

My best playing hours are weekdays early morning in the US. Not sure if the $2.20s are going to fill during those hours, guess I'll find out tomorrow.

SOOOOOOO Tilted right now.. can't believe how both Conference Championship games ended tonight. Ravens lose thanks to Cundiff completely blowing a chip shot.. and the 49ers lose due to a muffed punt, both games were incredible up to the point two idiotic mistakes cost them the game. I'm not really a fan of either team, just of good football. Superbowl should be good though.

So after the games I say to myself 'I don't really feel like playing tonight.'. So what do I do? Play. obv tilted from earlier I wasn't playing my A game.. proceeded to lose like $5 6-tabling 4nl, and lose in the $300 Guaranteed Deepstack $1.10 buy in. I know it's not much, but i'm still stressed after all that. Sorry for the long explanation just needed to vent.

Mixed a few more $2.20 bounty sngs with my steps grind this morning. Disappointing results in the first two (one bounty), but won the third with a couple of bounties and nudged my BR up to a new high of $15.32.

I was worried and chasing losses in that third game so I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead and focus on grinding 1s and 2s for a better tomorrow.

The games were tilting. Cundiff barely had time to get set. I would have hated to see the brothers in the SB though. The game would be terrible and the focus would only be on the coaches. Kinda figured the Hoodie and Brady will get 1 or 2 more before they retire. If Eli wins you can bet we get to see Peyton come back for 3-4 more years. Most likely with another team. I don't see how Indy throws 28 mill at him while trying to rebuild.

Ok - still in Indianapolis for Superbowl - will be here through Feb. 10 (Friday after the game). Still sick busy and not much time for poker... BUT...

Both Friday and Saturday night we had mini 1 table tournies at the hotel - 1st night only a few players (small buyins $10) - I ended up chopping it 3 ways for $20 each (I was chipleader at chop) - next night 8 players - and we ended up chopping $25/$25/$30 with me taking the $30 as the chip leader AGAIN! Not much of a brag as a few of these guys are just so bad - but a couple are really pretty good!

Anyway - fun to get some poker in no matter what!

Nice work, ChanceH! I love low-stakes live play. I sit in an unraked .50/1 NL game most weeks and it's great, although it puts my micro grinding in perspective as I don't think I'll ever have a -$85 or +$53 day online.

I was emo-tilty this morning due to a non-poker argument with a friend so I stuck to the steps and didn't risk any money today. Binked one Step 3 but found it surprisingly hard to cash any twos. BR new peak of $16.32.

Anyone know if you can cash out on these sites without ever having deposited?

I am on carbon and just won a few step 2's. Does anyone know if they expire after a few days or weeks or do you have to use them asap?

I have never held one very long without playing it, so not sure. But I don't remember seeing an expiration date. I'm away from the client but from the lobby you can click Player Admin which sends you to the web site and you can click around the left nav under My Account and look at Tourney Entry Coupons or whatever it's called.

ETA: They "keep" for at least several days.
