That seems super ambitious though Takes some serious balls to pull the trigger there. Not sure how I feel about it either, he's repping super thin, but it also makes you wonder what kind of hands he could be bluffing with, also helps that river completes backdoro flush I guess. I don't know, at first I thought lol sick punt wtf, but maybe it isn't super bad. I guess he has all 3 combo's of sixes, let's say like 0.25 combo's of 3's, 2.5 combo's of nines or whatever, and give him like 0.5 combo of aces too. add some broadway backdoor spades like KQss KJss JTss and maybe bluffing with the bottom tier of your ace x flatting hands isn't that bad after all. Obviously looks bad at first since you have a hand that is never ever folding. Hmmmm. Interesting, thx for posting

Hey Jae.

Great to see you posting again. Been a while since we spoke, but it's awesome to see you're still active and grinding away the days. I saw a few of your highlighted broadcasts on twitch and have been checking regularly to see if you'd been streaming more. Please do continue with it. You produce good content, and your personality is very interesting for the viewer if you can keep at it consistently. Best of luck to to you this year.

Ironic isn't the word I'm looking for but I ended up winning a small FTOPS Event today in maybe the last FTOPs that will ever run. I always see the withered regulars with their FTOPS avatar (I'm not a fan of the avatar personally). I was joking to luxy that I didn't even want it, but it turns out you also get a jersey and a jacket I think! So I'm looking forward to wearing the jersey and rubbing one out etc. Also still stuck infinite there, just going to deactivate my account and the salty memories after the merge.

Things were going really great for me in the Saturday 320 until I ran into 84BUKTOP84. I haven't checked the lobby but I hope he went on to a deep finish in this tournament. He seems like a recreational player but the showdown made me laugh out loud.

Hey thanks for the message I wish you the best in the future too and hope you keep growing as a player. mathiace is a former student of mine (we didn't do too many sessions) that I still see occasionally in tournaments.

PMing you now too!

I would go more in depth if someone told me who is teaching a lot of the regs the same things, since a number of them all share common traits. Is it jcarver or something? I've never really studied his twitch.

BTW I'm not just lumping all midstakes players into the same player pool. There's just a subset of regs (maybe even 100+ of them) who just do the same dumb/bad things. I think there are a number of players who spin a lot of midstakes games who are pretty damn good at poker (Aaralynn and Jabra come to mind).

It's hard to say though. Maybe things that are mistakes in my eyes aren't really mistakes against the overall player pool. I realize this sounds super sketchy and evasive, so an example would be I think they overvalue AQ vs me but it could be fine vs other players.

YugiohPro, I saw you on twitch after reading a thread you started awhile ago.. I think my username on twitch is Pwntcha. I forget what thread it was. I asked you a few questions on twitch.tv and followed your advice to stick to cash games. Since then I've been crushing live, started my blog up again, and have ignited the poker flame in me again... I really appreciate it, even though you probably don't remember and it was insignificant to you. It helped me a ton and for that, I thank you.

Pains of having too much heart for the grind. Just finished a 6476 player $5 bounty builder that only paid $559 for 1st and took 10 hrs or something. At least I was watching UFC (which I would have done anyway) while 1 tabling it and yeah. Note to self: Never reg this thing again

Pumped for Sunday!
