Oh wait .. I'm still playing $3R and $7 45s... I guess I can forgive you now. Would be nice if you'd still read it and maybe (if you think my suggestions are interesting) cover some of the topics though.

Had some technical glitches but hopefully episode 1 gets uploaded this time through. It should hit next week or something depending on what day I'm slotted for.
Put in a very long grind yesterday, hit 6k VPP in a day which might be my record. Was having a very brutal day, bubbled the $215 to a 1k and the $33r 3x to a 4k as well (got 4th and 2nd got 1.1k) along with bad distributions in SNG's.
Midway through I decided to stop checking my balance. I tend to obsessively refresh my EV and winnings on HEM for SNG's. I need to stop doing that.
Shipped the 215T for 6.7k outright and also got 10th in the 55R along with a few other runs. I still feel like I've turned a corner in SNG's, and I'm running slightly bad in them in terms of finish distro but I've made a conscious decision to turn things around.
All of my distributions have improved now. I just need to shift my 18's over 1 more to the left :P

You will probably be shocked at the potential swings in basically all formats of tournament poker if you have to ask your original question.
After than, research standard deviation & variance. (wikipedia/ and 2+2 have loads of info about these concepts)
When you get a grasp of these concepts, you will have a much better time with downswings. They are common, inevitable even for the best of us... by best of us I mean Yugioh not me
. Lastly when you understand variance well it does wonders for tilt and gets you over the hump of focusing on results and not on decisions in game.
