Nhs viktor, only suggestion might be to size smaller in the KKQ5 hand, sets up a few more options on turn. Everything else is pretty standard.

Yep I agree. I think if we size it just a little bit smaller, we could possibly fold to a raise.

Been implementing new routines for the past week and focusing alot on just learning new things everyday and try to bring my A-game as much as possible. Having a coach is really beneficial for me and in long term, Im sure this is best thing I could have done for my PLO game.

So heres a graph for the past 7 days

Its PLO 60/75 and Ive been running average in general. Still waiting for some rungood to get those nice looking upwards graphs .

Just finished a 5 hour session, which is the longest Ive done for months. Ive been slowly building up to this point where I can sit for a longer period and still play well and make good decisions. So whenever I feel like I got the time to sit for a long period and I play my best, I will try to sit as long as possible as I need to push some volume.

Things are looking quite good and Ill be posting 3 hands first thing tomorrow. Those are some spots where Im not enitrely sure what Ive should do.

I think everything up till turn is standard. His sizeing on turn is soooo weird though. Im obviously folding to 80%+ sizes but when he halfpots it? I was considering jamming. He could have c/r worse sets on the flop or wrap+fd basically aswell. Or the nuts obv. I took worst line possible by calling and folding blank river.

I think think c/c flop is best option. Hes going to shove alot of hands we still got equity vs on this flop and my plan was to donk alot of good turns for us. Obv we hit one of those. My question is if we could fold to his raise? At the time I still thought like he could be shoving big wraps or Kxxx.

Preflop is problably a bit too loose. But both are big fishes so its close. And Im not too happy with how I played the flop. I havent seen this guy limp/raise on the button before so I pretty much put him on AAxx here. It should change when he pots flop, which is so strong and I donk think he does that with naked AA. I guess something like KKxx with hearts is a big possibility aswell. I like raising if he sizes 50-70% of pot. When he pots its just too strong tbh.

BTN is a good reg so hes 3betting me very wide here. SB is a decent NLHE player but fishy at PLO. When he cold 4bets, I put him on almost exclusively on AAxx or AKKx. I think 5betting is good for several reasons. BTN is going to fold a high % of the time which cleans outs for myself and I prefer taking it HU vs SB, even if he got AAxx almost always. Also, if BTN shows up with AAxx aswell, Im actually doing great vs both of their ranges. I could see BTN going with like KQJT aswell which crushes my hand but more often then not hes going to have mediocre multi component hands that will fold to my 5bet. So theres alot more merits to 5betting then flatting a 4bet imo.

It's in a currency called Swedish Crowns. So playing like 2.5/5 Swedish Crowns would equal about PLO75 in dollars.

Took saturday off hanging out with a friend and just relaxing. Though Im not problably reaching my 50 hour goal for the week, Im happy with increasing my volume. Will post some hands later tonight.

Finished for the week and I only reached 30 hours of playing, which is 5 more then past week but still 15 from my goal, which was 50. I kinda had the feeling I wouldnt reach it since its such a dramatic increase compared to last week but at least I know I cant 50 hours right away. So the goals for next week is:

          • 40 hours playing
          • 10 hours study

Hopefully by building the hours up little by little, I end up in 1-2 months with desired volume which would be around 50-70 hours of playing every week.
The study time is vital and I will increase it with a 1:4 ratio with the playing time.

          Graph for past week:

Been running decent at PLO75/60 and hopefully I might take the step onto PLO150 at the start of next month.

Pretty good start to the week. A little behind pace on the 40 hours but Im planning to catch up on wednesday. Running bad at the moment but still profiting. Could have been way more but whatever, Im happy with how Im handling the tilt.

Will post a graph tomorrow. Meanwhile Ill post some cool hands.

BTN is playing 57/41/23% 3bet. STD hand. Can also say that I would problably flat worse AAxx to his 3bet.

BTN plays 44/30. Seems bad but doesnt necessarily spew postflop. I think flop is fine with either c/c or donk. I choose donk because I think he will check behind alot and I will miss value from alot of hands. Even if I get raised, I got decent equity vs the nuts here.

CO is playing 29/24. BTN 23/17/8% 3bet. BTN will 3bet in this spot fairly loose and I think our hand isnt good enough to flat and too strong to fold. Pretty decent spot to make a cold 4bet. We also got alot of playability postflop so Im confident with the SPR we will have will makeup for the positional disadvantage.

Midweek update is here. Played 14/40 hours this far and its where I expected it to be. Plan to get most hours done at the weekend so Im confident I can still pull it off.

                Graph this far (PLO 75/60)

Happy with running decent. Not that happy with how I play some hands and I feel spewy at times and Im making some clear errors postflop. Hopefully I can get a sweat done with my staker tomorrow so he might point some obvious things out.

Looks like february is going to be a pretty decent month in many ways. Playing alot and also working hard with studying. Got good habits going so Im looking to gain momentum from that.

Played a pretty long night session and run super bad. Usually have a 3 buyin stoploss rule but when I got more then 3 hours to play I usually dont include that for the session just because it will decrease my volume in some situations.

Was down 11 buyins at one point, managed to recover and ended up down like 4.5 so its not that bad. Im more worried about tilting when facing a couple of bad beats/coolers being down a bunch. Didnt really handle it well since I got pretty frustrated and warm (remember, when I tilt I dont play much worse, I just get really hot and frustrated) and it sucks to have that feeling.

Didnt warmup properly pre session and that might be it. I think if I start slacking with these fundamental things this will end bad. So I got to really keep working hard on my game, review troublespots, do proper warmups/cooldowns and dont be distracted.

Had as session goal to not browse during session but I get easily bored when playing for a long time and not facing too much action. Any tips to handle this? Just need to refocus right?

I think the call pre-flop in hand 2 is questionable. Pretty terrible hand for playing oop especially if you hit top pair.

Would you mind explaining your reasoning in hand 4 starting with preflop? I hardly ever if at all defend 3b IP with KK. Paired board also makes it interesting depending on what his 3b frequency against a steal is and also his postflop tendencies.

Yes I agree with what you say about hand 2. I think I misjudged our stackdepth at the time. With that said, I think calling is fine when were 150+bb deep tough, having good relative position 3 way.

Villain in hand 4 is 3betting close to 16% and I could see a flat or 4bet here, I think I choose to flat with our stackdepths and me having position. This guy is pretty trigger happy so Im expecting him to barrel alot with flushdraws, overpairs and wraps. Im pretty confident with calling flop/turn. We will very often be good and raising wont do us much good tbh. When he checks river Im assuming to be good a decent % of the time but I want to make him fold any combos of AAxx or flushes he might actually have. His range is really wide here. My range for this line is very, very strong as the flop usually hits me more often then it hits him, and this is how I would play wraps+fd and fullhouses basically. I think theres some merit to checking back river though, not entirely sure about that part of the hand.

So Im done with the week and I managed to put in 33 hours playing, which is 7 off target. Not too dissapointed though since its a small increase from the past week which was 30 hours.

                        Graph for week 7

Ran pretty ****ty towards the end but overall Im happy with how I played. Looking to set some new goals for week 8 later tonight.

Will do a monthly summary on thursday aswell with graps and some thoughts.

So I spent some time on setting goals for next week (w.8) and here they are:

                        • 50 hours play
                        • 7 hours study
                        • Implement new journal
                        • Mark hands and review consistently
                        • Focus on my blind play

Basically its a significant increase in my playing time but I think if I just buckle down and try real hard, I will get there. I dont want to have too easy goals either because it makes nothing out of you if you get there.

My new raport/journal will be more personal and in-depth about pre- and post session. Will contain thoughts, what Im looking to improve, how Im feeling and so on. Im going to post mondays journal when Im done with the day so you guys get an idea of it.

Its going to be a tough week and Im looking forward to it . Wish me luck and some rungood!
