No man, i play something like 16-18 tables, note that i play 40 Mtts but i put more 30 SNG or more each session. I prefer to play a 15$ or 35$ SNG instead of play 22$ Deep Stacks or 5.10 Hyper Turbo.

sup. had a pretty short sunday session that coulda been pretty solid considering i made the Ft of the $75 5k as the massive chipleader which had $4k ftw but somehow managed to lose every hand on that ft to bust in 7th. broke even on that day and went out for drinks for a friends bday so skipped all the big peaktime stuff.

so decided to not be a bum today and play some liveament instead of grinding online as today was day 1a of the 333eur tripleA series in the casino here. pretty solid structure (25 min levels 50k chips 50/100 blinds to start) so felt like should be a fun one to play and get some practice in for vienna next month.

got a really soft first table with a TON of limping going on and ppl generally having no idea whats up. got up to 70k chips pretty quickly and then got into the following spot:

here i messed up. given the action up until this point i think i should lead this turn. it is pretty likely that V1 is on sth like AK a lot here which i dont want to give free cards to and V2 will have QQ a lot here or some coldcalled drawing hand of which there are plenty on this texture. i dont wanna give the draws in both villains ranges the chance to get a free river and there s a good chance that V1 might be stubborn with his gutshot. SHOULD he be on KK+ that played the flop passively theres no chance he d fold to my lead. so ya all in all pretty clear lead spot imo.

so ya that one was fun tried to make a comeback but lost to a fish donking undercards and backing himself into bottom trips vs my top pair.

so ya funny day of poker, didnt play great but ran almost exactly at chipEV which was fun i m in this thing for 666eur and first place will likely be somewhere around 12-17keur. day 2 starts at 3pm on sunday and shouldbe a fun one. returning with 44bb.

the saddest part of this is that villain in hand 2 was left with less than 5000 chips which will be 1bb. that meant he couldnt try and bust the next hand and thus will not be allowed to reenter tomorrow for day 1b. the looks he shot me were so scary i walked most of the way home looking over my shoulder all the time me offering to buy him a beer didnt at all better the situation. poor guy

In terms of how good a run this is, how do you expect the year to run out and in basic terms ( how good are u running in the top 1-10 spectrum of rungood) can't imagine you carrying on anywhere close to this ROI. Gotcha. I busted the first bullet holding AJo and 24bb vs a spazz who donked 53ss on AT8r. Called and checked turn behind on a 5o. River was another 5. Pretty boring hand so didn't take the time to write it up

The quads tilted me a slight bit mainly cuz I had to leave the table and got sat somewhere else when I re entered. I d have run over that table with 2.5x avg stack easily but owell it all turned out ok

Don't think I ve run hot this year really. Not in big blinds not in chips and situationally I ve had a good number of big runs that actually didn't pan out. My ROI is 35% across this year on a $23 ABI which is good but not the cap of what is achievable on that ABI.

On a scale of 1-10 of how good I've run this year I ll give it a solid 7.5

@shelly tbh I think vs a tilts spazz flatting pre is pretty fine assuming I will fire away a lot (as evidenced) (fk that it can't be good lol. I ll never talk strat when I m not fully awake again. A 3b w ATC would be good in that spot tho)
The reason he got angry is that the casino didn't let him declare his 1bb stack to be dead so that he could re enter today on day 1b. I actually did feel rly bad for him as he clearly enjoys the game and now might rethink his attitude towards all this live poker thing which would suck.
