Re: Starting at zero...

What are you going to be playing once your BR is in positive territory? Easiest way to build a BR is by playing DON's until you have enough to play something else. Good Luck BTW.

Also, binked a Step 3 so I have $1 now. I also have like 600 VIP points but I don't know how to use them.

You've lasted 1 day

Hypers are not the way to go if you're bankroll building, you need a load of buy in's behind you as luck will be a big factor.

If you really want to build from scratch, I'd open up several accounts on different sites and play a load of freerolls all a day. AFAIK PKR and Bluesquare have 10 cents STT giveaways, you can play these and build up a deecnt roll in a week. Betfair have freeroll with low hundreds that play but they have added tournaments for 1, 10, 25 and 50 cents so it's possible to build with sensible bankrolling.

Avoid freerolls like the Hubble on Stars with 10,000 runners that pays out 100 places to another freeroll.

It can be done.

Show a bit more dedication and someone may stake you.

Re: Starting at zero...

I built my roll in Stars from freerolls to have good BRM at NL25 (except that I'm a tourney player). If you wanna build a BR from scratch you MUST have good BRM, NO hypers, and just freeroll your way until $5 and up then you can go for the micro SnGs

Re: Starting at zero...

Dude are you seriously going to quit after one day? Don't play hypers, it's just a rat hole for a small BR. Keep playing the steps until you have $5, then you can start playing the 60 cent STT or the 1 dollar DON's. If you can't turn this into a profit then quit poker for life.

PS. When playing the steps, you should group similar steps together and play them at once. Don't mix playing step 1's and step 3's together.

Re: Starting at zero...

Don't worry guys I'm not quitting. I have some money on the side, might just buy in like $100 and grind that up. Keep in mind I had a 15k bankroll when I used to grind on Full Tilt and have been playing live 5/10 on a stake since Black Friday. Its not exactly easy for me to focus on freerolls.
