Hey guys here is what's up. I have played poker for a long time like 7 years or so made some decent money here and there at local rooms and homegames but have mostly always just been breakeven player online mostly due to poor BRM.

I really am going to try hard to beat each stake instead of moving up too quickly and taking dumb shots.

I would also like advice from people here on when would be a good time to move up for example how many buy ins and what kind of winrate I should be looking for at previous stake.

I have never taken online poker as seriously as I should but now I am going to put in serious effort.

I deposited 90 bucks on Bodog about a week ago and am up to about 250 playing 10nl so far. Also just downloaded poker tracker 3 since PTR sucks for bodog. have only been using PT3 for last 2 days so it only shows me up 70ish bucks can post graphs later.

I am really looking for good feedback here from people with experience in grinding up a roll and moving up stakes. My main idea for doing this is that if I can't beat the micros I have no business playing higher.

I was thinking about once I have 40 buy ins of current stake I should move up. Any suggestions on that?? Thanks, wish me luck!

cool man gl... i got some experience building rolls mostly ssmtt binks... but have more exp. busting them so not one to give brm advice... but gl.. yeah 30-40 bi is pretty standard tho

annoying session started it around 1400 hands on the graph was down a few buy ins then ended up 12.50 or something.. thanks to donks stacking off with >5% hands I made a comeback.

still a huge poker tracker noob if someone could help me how do you get it to just show hands like maybe for a certain day or starting at a certain number of hands... idk any help would be nice thanks

Man unfortunately I started this thread right before bodog implemented anonymous tables yuck. I'm on merge now thinking about starting another goals thread but I'm so busy with school thanks for the support though
