Shane who finaled the 100r took us out for dinner. Usually its the same crowd but when posting on facebook we had a few guys who are not part of the crowd come along which was great as Shane is a nit irl!

James (thedrunklife) always makes his life hell so with a ridiculous amount of starters and dinners the meal was pretty big and Shane kindly paiiiiiiiid for everybody. I had Lamb Shank and then another Lamb Shank and my trademark desert "2 scoops of vanilla ice cream - NO SAUCE".

Along with us today came twirlpro, former world number 1 mtt player and ranked number 1 in Hungary. Its really nice when the Hungarian crowd interact and mix with us, theres around 6 of them who do semi often and they are the better players in Hungary and perhaps have the better English.

We went for a drink then I came home, will maybe sweat the WSOP HU, but pumped about waking up early and keeping this body clock going.

No poker played today, will maybe play a couple of hours tomorrow, lets see. Its all about the weekend volume though for me and recovering, studying and putting a little bit of volume in the early stages of the week where the games arent so great.

PokerTracker is spazzing and not updating, no idea why. Finished down around 250 but was up around 800in ev so ran around 1k under ev (5bis) so wte, i ran over ev in first couple days so compensates I guess.

Going to train for a Hungarian football team tomorrow which should be good fun. Will try and play a 3-4 hour shift in the day time too.

Looking for a 25-30 hour weekend if possible.

So I wrote a few months ago that there was a Budapest cup and we were assaulted by these crazy persian guys. The guy who ran the tournament rang me and asked if I could train tonight with his team.

I went alng and it ended up being 4 brazilians (all played against me in buds cup and were incred) 4 Argentinian guys (also played against us in the cup and re incred) and a mix of Italians and Hungarians.

I was told it was going to be an easy session, 45 mins in and we've done full cardio and fitness. I'm very good on the ball but haven't played properly in over 18 months! We then had a 10v10 and afterwards they said they were very impressed and wanted me to,play on Sunday and sign for the team.

They play every Sunday at 7pm so,its obviously a huge conflict of interest with grinding mtts on a Sunday. There is only 4 games left before a winter break so I'm thinking to play these 4 weeks train 2x a week and then in the winter break go,to the gym a lot.

My biggest regret and miss is playing football. I wnt from playing 5 times a week to not playing in 18 months, but Sundays and mtts are so huge too. Any thoughts?

In general I'm very unfit and unhealthy, I eat a lot of **** and never train, being in a v competitive league I'd be very detérmined and motivated to gt and stay fit.

Having a big winning Sunday can be the biggest day of professional year though.

Little help somebody? One thing I perhaps lack in life is a little bit of balance.

Here is me at Southampton the next year, look at the guy two places to the left of me... Hes at Real Madrid and is the most expensive player in the world! Theo Walcott was in this age team as well although was always pushed through the ranks. Nathan Dyer, Leon Best, Dexter Blackstock, Adam Lallana and others all came through the same youth team, pretty insane.



Ended up back in the North East playing in front of huge crowds!

At University I was prepared for a really serious and gruelling league, the day I was picked for the university team (almost 2000 came for trials) I was excited, we met for an evening to discuss the seasons plans, but it was a tarpppp and it was my initiation night

After moving to PokerStrategy in Gibraltar I didnt play much at all, we had a big industry tournament where we ended up winning and I snatched the trophy for the winners photo

Decided to play some tournments tonight after having a nice meal with some friends.

Ended up playing small schedule of like 700 dollars leaving out all the 320, 215, big 162 etc. Won the 50e 6max and came 2nd in the big 50 after getting coolered so hard hu.

Nevermind though, glad we got a win!

Total was like 6200 dollars so that is pretty nice, but after being so lazy this week I dont really deserve it. Not sure about tomorrow if I will grind MTTs or cash games. Will see.
