Not really, had played about 20-40 hands w him, seemed like either a bad reg or fish, and sometimes when people take strange lines that differ from the most line people take with a king, you have to be a hero.

Re: A smorgasbord of degeneracy, gambling and grinding.

Had my last exam on monday, so wasn't able to truly grind prior to that. Anyway, today was an eventful day for me poker wise, put in about 5k hands, 2 sessions, each session lasted about 2.5k hands. First session went great, think I was up like a couple of bi's, the last one started off bad, went as far as me being down 6 bi's but I managed to rostucko and find myself at the end +5 bi's. Will be getting lots of rb hopefully.

Anyway, here's the graph so far in bb's.

I'm about 500$ for the month excluding rakeback(if I guess, somewhere around 300-500$ will be coming in from rb atm).

At 50NL I've won 1432$ in the span of 20k hands.

Hope u enjoy the thread and if u have any questions regarding my goal, poker hands or w/e, feel free to ask.

A couple of hands. In the first two I won, in the last two I lost.

Haven't been very active here, but here's a monthly update anyway.
Not the greatest month I've had, but stretches like these aren't that unlikely so just gotta bear with it. I'm still + from sportsbetting + rakeback though, so that's always a relief.

Anyway here's two hands where I made calls that turned out to be correct, both which I had reads + bet sizing tell.

Thought I lay out goals for Dec as well:

              Poker:
Win about 6000 € (including rb and sportsbetting) and move up to 200NL euro with a 10 000€ br. At around 4000€ atm.
Put in +60k hands. So, I would only have to win 4000 € since rb over 60k hands is around 2-2.2k €. The winrate is about 6-7 bb/100 which I definitely think is doable with a little bit of rungood and table selecting.
              RL:
Pass all 3 exams that I have from 12-20 Dec.

Dec so far, started out a lil rough and then easy, opposite of proud mary, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be able to make my goal of reaching 10k€, but quite optimistic to reach 7.5k€. My br lies around 5.5-6k€ atm.

                Small Update:

January went meh, could play more hands, but I was on vacation in the beginning + had a exam I had to take, which I got the results for today, Aced it. Only played about 20k hands and won about 400-500$ + 1k in rb. My trip to Dubai cost me about 1.5-2k so had to cash out quite a bit. I'm at 5800 euro which is about 7600$. Will maybe switch sites when I hit 10k$ so I can play 200NL instead of 100NL euro. I won't set any $ goals this month but instead try to play over 40k hands. Hopefully I'll be able to reach 10k $ this month, that's all.
Might say that Feb has started of very decent, +6bi's in the span of 2k hands. Love short term + variance. But with my playing style and the general variance, we'll see how long my good start lasts...

                      Monthly Update for Mars:

Went well in the beginning up till 15k hands, and this was all 100NL if I'm not mistaken, then I started playing 200NL around 20-25k and it went okey in the beginning, but unfortunately I hit a bad stream of luck at 200NL and afterwards it was all downhill. I had wished I could have run good, or at least decent on my shottake, but it doesn't always go as planned.

All in all, I think I ended the month about 2400€(mainly thanks to rb), ran around 15's under EV for 200NL, about 3000€, but about 10 bi's over EV at 100NL. Needless to say, I wish it was the other way around :P.

My total br lies now somewhere around the 13500 $ or 9500€(includes me withdrawing my other poker savings which was about 2.8k). I think I'm going to start of by playing 100NL till I reach about 10k€ and then shottake at 200NL again, especially since I'm not going to be playing till after 14 Mars due to exams.
