You mean how much money i have? I have $1,5k + a friend owes me $2k. I dont think i would need more than $300 to start with playing $7 though, but i just like to have a lot of money on my account so the swings dont feel so bad.

I only have the ICM trainer that you can download from Pokerstrategy, but i havent used it in couple of months.. I think it's only really useful when you start playing and have no idea what kind of ranges to push/call of with. When you have played a bit it's pretty useless to be honest, since i think that your table image and your opponents are much more of a factor than just the stacksizes.

Cool, I'll check it out. It'd be worth my while giving that a whirl once a month to get my head out of cash game mode and into SNG mode

Those are some good value for your points IMO.
Not sure if this was asked but how many tables do you play at one time in your sessions?

On PS.fr, I play the 310 FPP hyper turbos 6 max. Top 2 get a €10 seat in a Sunday tourney (which I unregister from to get the €10 in tourney chips)
I then play a load of €5 - €10 SNG's
I seem to do pretty well considering I'm a cash player, but with a bit of work on my push/fold/call ranges, I think I could do better

Pokerstrategy is good, if it wasnt for their free fiddy i would have to deposit my own dorrars.
I'm too lazy to do session reviews, i usually just fap to my giraffs and thats it.
Well that depends, sometimes i get to heads up with 100+bb eff and sometimes with 15bb.. But in general i try to see flops even this shallow, because i think i have a pretty big edge playing postflop to these loltards. (check fold when i miss and cbet and be done with it if he calls and i have air, ofc) Plus i dont really flip like a romanian gymnast atm so i try to avoid that too.

Yea thats true. But to be honest the 210fpp are so much more better than the 70fpp, its not even close. In the 210fpp, 6/20 people get the ticket, while the 70fpp are winner-take-all. I think you can have like 60-70% itm if you dont run too bad in the 210s (people are just so nitty here), but its really hard to have that in the 70s (conversely, people gamble a ton, its normal to have a 3+way allin in the first hand).
I play 9 tables.

I hate the hyperturbos, they are just so ****ing quick and with high variance.
Well why dont you exchange the T€ with someone for actual €€? At least you dont have to waste your time playing sngs

re: Sit'n'troll - $20k this year playing $7-$15 sng (w/ threadsavers)
Hi Alficor1, good luck with your challenge.
What you're saying interests me. I have an average ROI in the 12 - 18% on STTs on various sites but late last year I thought I would become the reg infested nit you described on Pokerstars. Unfortunately as I've now realised all I'm doing is churning over the rake to the site and only making low profits.
I'm curious to how many tables you play at a time? Pokerstars is the bees knees for multi tabling but I don't feel it is the softest network out there. I'm playing Ongaming atm with a 30% RB deal which goes a long way to add to your profits.
I'm also wondering do you table select? I found that by avoiding certain tables my ROI increased significantly, after all if you're in a 6 max with 4 regs you know it's gonna be a lot harder to cash than a table with 4 fish.
I'm playing 5 max turbo's which suits the blind structure for Ongaming but I may move to 10 seat and/or regular speed when I move up stakes.

Hi, thanks mate
Well, i dont know what stakes you play, but i can assure you that even the $7 and bellow turbos aren't hard to beat by any means. I dont really know how is it at $15 and higher, but i would guess it's not that terrible either as turbo's are more favoured by both the regs, but also the fish. Also i think that most regs are moving to hyper turbo's, so the situation should get better.
I already said it in the post above, i play 9 tables. I tried even 12 but thats really hard, esp. if you play for example heads up on 4 tables and 3-4handed on the rest. That's just ridiculous.
I personally dont table select, mostly because there are not enough tables running and partly because i almost never have more than one remotely reasonable player at the table. But i am definitely gonna have to table select at least a bit at the $15, as there are some really good players. I'll probably just mix the $15 and the $7.
I would recommend you to move to Party Poker/WPT, i think their software is much better than ongame's and there's a lot more players who suck

re: Sit'n'troll - $20k this year playing $7-$15 sng (w/ threadsavers)
I play $1.50 to $7 Limit STT's on Stars. I play these not because I'm a great limit player but because I'm an OK STT player. I adopt a TAG STT style while my opponents play every hand. I vary my stakes because I can hit the leaderboards from time to time and also table select. $7 and upwards has a few decent regs that vary stakes betweek $7 and $60 and I feel table selection is a key to keeping a high ROI.
I've just recently moved to Ongaming again as I've hit a brick wall on Stars and my ROI has taken a nosedive (Sharkscope enabled, Ovalman). Still micro stakes on Ongaming but I'm showing a small profit since I moved back. I would find the games super easy if the bad beats weren't so cruel.
I can comfortably 6 but find 8 tables or more just pickles my head. I suppose it's a matter of keep practising though.
One point I could make is look out for promotions on other sites. I'm sure you don't just play STT's but if you look around you can find some real MTT gems. William Hill has a Super Series Guaranteed every night of the week that usually has a decent overlay. Boylepoker has a $1k added every Friday with just over 100 players for a $20 buy in. Maybe worth looking at to play alongside your normal STT's.
Profit is profit after all

One other question - do you use a HUD?
I have HEM and while it helps me identify the fish quickly, especially if I've played them before, I haven't seen my ROI increase. It's good for multi tabling but I don't feel I'm getting full use out of it.
If you do use one, have you it customised? ie. a different HUD for 6 handed than HU? What stats do you pay attention to except VPiP, PFR and Agg Factor?

Deciding how many 6max tables to play has always wrecked my head. I run into similar problems. Losing ability to get good reads shorthanded etc
Busting 2nd in these on silly mistakes is so frustrating.
I cant handle more than 6 and even then I have to stagger them.
Do you think its worth grinding on party considering their rake structure? Last time I checked they took a ridic high %
Will be railing a couple of your sngs mate , best of luck

I see see Alficor1's point very well.
I thought to myself that more tables = more profit. While this is true in a sense, the turbo structures also mean more gambling and earlier in a game. I've found since XMas, I've been making a profit but most of my money has went on rake.
I've just filtered HEM for this year and I'm 7.6% ROI in 2k games. I know i can and must do better. Now if you consider my overall ROI for STT's on Stars is 13% in 5.5k you can see I'm running well below where I should be.
This thread has got me thinking. I'd really like to max out my ROI vs amount of tables. I think I'll also switch to regular speed games which I've played for years.
