Mmm poutine! For those of you don't know what poutine is, it's basically a canadian dish that consists of french fries, cheese curds, and gravy. It's delicious!
Anyways, I'm Simplicity8 on PokerStars. I achieved Supernova Elite back in 2010 and
blogged about my journey here in PGC. I planned on achieving it again in 2011, but unfortunately the DOJ had other plans. I decided to wait and see what would happen while I grinded out live poker. Eventually I decided to move to Canada with a couple of guys I've known online for awhile.
I've been up and running on PokerStars since September. At first I was on a limited roll that a friend loaned me and I wasn't sure what I wanted to play. In my confused state I ended up playing everything from headsup to 180mans. Here's a look at my sharkscope breakdown for the month:
Those results include FPPs and somehow sharkscope was missing games/profit. I was really disappointed with my results for the amount of hours I put in, but I did earned $6,900 on the month while maintaining Supernova Elite. So it wasn't that bad of a startup month. For October I've decided to stick to mostly 180mans while using 45mans to fill in games as well as 18mans to warmup/cooldown sessions.
I'm only here in Canada for 6 months so I gotta make it count! My goals for October are:
- Play at least 200 hours
- Study at least 20 hours
- Make at least $15,000 profit (including FPPs)
- Make fewer mistakes/misclicks while playing
- Finish reading "The Mental Game of Poker"
So far I'm on pace to hit my profit goal:
That's it for now. If you wanna read more feel free to check out my
