Okay i take that back, raising that flop w that hand is clearly worse than calling off since the latter is only a marginal mistake whereas the former is a massive one. Most villains never flat that raise, they either jam or fold, since they are oop and it is a drawy flop, so you just kill the equity of your hand, i would much rather do this w a hand like Axx that you cant really call the flop w and you actually block his jamming range.

Reviewed this hand last night in some detail with a couple of people, as I think the flop is such an cool spot and came to some very interesting conclusions. A mini light-bulb went off in my head, if you will. So yeah, s'all good stuff!

100NL shot has been very mixed so far. Think it's become very clear to me (if it wasn't already) that I still have a bunch to learn before I'm going to be crushing this limit. Regs are definitely better in a lot of spots and I'm already having to adjust pretty quickly, as some stuff that you can get away with at 50 just isn't possible here.

But, these are only minor things. I wouldn't say that I feel out of my depth, nor do I believe that I won't win money here. I've still got 4.5 bi's of this shot left, so hopefully I can make it stick! But if not, then grinding it back at 50 in preparation for the next shot is something that I'll happily do.

In other news, had GazzyB123 and milky159 round mine yesterday. Ended up going out and getting absolutely Willie Beamen which was great fun. They're here til Sunday, so we'll probably do it again on Saturday night. Looking likely that we'll go play a live donkament later on tonight, but we will see!

Will post some hands in the next update, as I've just spent 10 minutes looking through yesterdays for some interesting ones and have found nothing good.

To sum up, it's a definite step up from 50 and there are adjustments that I need to make the next time I shot 100. But I think I know what most of those adjustments are, so that's definitely a good thing. I've already learned a lot in the short ~11k hands that I've played, so I can't be too disheartened.

So it's back to 50 for now, grind back this 1k and then take another shot!

Not actually done much grinding at all since moving back to 50. Not because I've had to move down, more because I've been spending a lot of time going out and getting drunk. Hardly productive, but it's been an amazing time.

GazzyB123 is a complete legend in every sense of the word and the last 3 days have seen some of the best scenes since I've moved to Malta.

So yeah, back to normality now. Going to basically camp out in the apartment for the rest of the month and get some major grinding done. The loose aim of 10k hands a day will see me hit the $1600 FPP bonus by the end of the month and with any luck will also see me rebuild enough to shot 100 again around the same time. The latter is an extremely loose aim however, as it's of course no disaster if it takes a little while longer to rebuild. Don't want to ruin my mindset by making any firm profit goals after all, as that's definitely not the most healthy way to be looking at things.

Maybe more pictures to come later, if they pass the embarrassment test and are suitable to be viewed by the world.
